A new scent filled both Clay and Juliette's nose, successfully bringing the couple out of their sleepy state, Juliette's head was on her husband's chest and his arm was around her waist holding her close, her hand was possessive on top of his chest.
"Jules..." A voice called out, softly and smoothly, although not Clay's voice, a possessive growl escaped the sleeping man as he pulled her closer to him, "Your favourite person is here." the same person commented making the blonde woman turn her head slightly away from her husband's chest to lightly peer to her side.
"Nick, what are you doing?" Juliette giggled tiredly, rolling her eyes gently as she pulled the bed covers closer to her and Clay, "I'm here to wake you both up." Nick Sorrentino, a family friend of Clay and Juliette claimed, perching himself up on one elbow. "And to tell you that you look... amazing." Clay pushed Nick's face away with his hand while keeping his eyes closed, "Stop looking at my naked wife." he commented, earning a giggle from Juliette.
"Well, your wife looks amazing." Nick told his best friend, "I look the same as I did a year ago, just slightly different than how I did five years ago." Juliette told her friend, shifting herself slightly so she could look at him while still being covered and in her husband's arms.
Clay laughed loudly, his whole chest vibrating with it, something that Juliette could feel as her body was pressed against his, "Just take the compliment." Nick sighed, shaking his head in feign disappointment, "Or what?" Juliette teased, giving her friend a teasing smirk while raising a brow.
"Wouldn't you like to know." Nick smirked back at her, winking slightly only to get shoved away once more by Clay, who this time around had both his eyes open and was looking at the two. Nick was attractive, his body was well built and Juliette could only half blame it on the werewolf genes, the rest was due to his Italian ancestry genes.
"Wouldn't you like to try." Clay retorted, his voice hard a feeble attempt to scare Nick away, feeble indeed because the werewolf merely smiled at him and winked at him too. "It's too bad we can't blow off steam with a run, huh?" he told the couple with an honest sigh, his eyes moving to the window outside.
"Ah... I wish we could. It's been so long since I've been able to run freely." Juliette admits, rubbing her face with her hands, "Didn't you run while you were away?" Nick frowns, turning his eyes back to the blonde woman, "I did but never as freely as I can run here." Juliette muttered. Clay grabbed one of his wife's hands and brought it up to his lips, planting a kiss on her knuckles.
Suddenly the sound of a bell chiming caught the attention of three werewolves, Clay being the first one to inquire "Breakfast is served?" Nick nodded at him, a happy smile growing on his lips "Yeah, dad's been at the grill for the past half hour. We'd better get going before Peter eats all the bacon." Nick moves to get up but halts his movements when he sees the couple stay where they are.
This made him smirk, devilishly at the two, alerting them to what was on his mind, especially when he told them "Or, I could... Stay in bed with you all day, if you'd prefer." Clay had his signature eye roll reaction to his best friend's words while Juliette merely pursed her lips and tapped her chin in a thinking motion.
"Jules we are not doing that again." Clay told his wife before she could even reply, making Nick pout and sigh in resignation while Juliette slumped her shoulders, "Besides we didn't eat anything last night and I know how hungry you get." his words did ring true in both Juliette and Nick's ears, Juliette did turn into a hangry monster when she was starving.
Juliette turned to Nick and gently tapped his face while telling him "No dice, Now run along, little pup. We have to get dressed." This made Clay honestly laugh, especially when he saw his best friend's offended look at the blonde's nickname for him. "Little pup?" Nick echoed indignantly, pushing himself off the bed, his grey sweatpants hanging low on his waist.
"Yeah." Juliette replied with a hum, narrowing her eyes teasingly at the man that stood next to the bed, "You've seen the bone I can bury." he told her before walking off, presumably to complain to the rest of the pack that Juliette had called him a pup.
"Now to get up or to not get up is the question." Clay told his wife as she pushed himself onto his elbow to look at her, his hand reaching over the covers over her chest until it was resting on her chin, "To carry on last night's events or to get breakfast." he added, leaning down to kiss Juliette's lips while she giggled at his antics.
