I followed star after star. Nothing. I walked for days. The clock is long gone and my mind is coming back to me. I feel myself tense. Jumping at the slightest noise and movement.

I let no one help me. I don't even go back to my pack. This is my job and my job alone. I have run into rouges. I heard Jade talk about them once. I hid somewhere and they don't find me.

I don't get headaches. I wished I did. Step after step. I slowly get closer to a star. It's never the right one though.

I follow one then switch. I'm starting to think she didn't mean literally. She had to be symbolizing something else.

I should have focused on school and read more books. That could have helped me in the long run.

I shake my head. Don't focus on the past. Don't stress about the future. Stay focus on the present. I have to figure this out. The brightest star...

Why did I never look this up? I star gazed since I was a little girl. I should know this!

I know where I have to go. I need to be careful. Madam Devil should be there. She is t chasing after me...

I've been wishing on Jade for my whole life...

I started to run the opposite way. I don't know where I'm going, but I know I'm going the right way.

The clearing is the hearth. Over the years, tress grow to connect the Earth to the Stars.

I past by familiar things and rouges. I'm not even scared of them. I ran past them. My skin touching their fur. They don't attack.

The hearth is the clearing. That's the only thing on my mind. I could have connected to Jade years ago. I could have ran and found my family years ago.

If I only knew...

My feet have pains that nobody could imagine. I just don't. I don't even think about my feet. I don't think about anything, but my mission. I don't know how long it's been, but I'm surviving.

The sky lightens up. The sky darkens up.

I keep my head on it and trop over a branch. I finally feel the pain. It's ok to take a break... I need a plan anyways. Think on the positive side.

I can her Jade's voice. Not literally though.

She would say something like:

'Your such a klutz...'

'I'm positive that you need to learn how to run.'

'Take your time. You are almost there. I can feel you.'

The connection will grow.

How do I connect to it? My dream didn't show me...

I'll sneak into the forest at night. I'll stay away from the orphanage. I'll stay out of sight.  I pushed off from the ground. I still have a long ways to go.

I glance up ever so often. I don't want to trip again. I hear howls from wolves, but I ignore them. I keep walking. They can't get mad at me. I'm only human.

I already have a problem and packs and rouges are not it.

In my dream, the star is in me. It left me. The star, which has to be Jade can only be accepted when you summon it and Jade has to accepted me.

That's why Jade didn't go into Madam Devil. She didn't accept.

She accepted me once. Shell accepted me again.

I know how to summon her now. I'll summon her then fall asleep.

I'm close. I can't see the stars, but the sound of the clock tells me.

I walked for about ten minutes. I see the orphanage. I see five bucks. I haven't eaten anything for a whole. I'm going to go get some food and use a restroom. I miss toilets so much. Not as much as Calvin and Jade. Not as much as my pack.

I relax. For the first time in a while. I feel safe. Jade is close. I see the sunset. It reminds me of my bedroom. I'm coming home soon. The moon rises and the street lights go on.

The darkness take over the forest. I know Jade and Madam Devil are there. I sneak around like a ninja. My six year old self would love this.

I walk through the forest. I see m window and walk towards it till I'm at the building. I walk the path I walked so much.

I know Madam Devil will come tonight. Her wolf knows. Just like Jade knew. I step into the clearing. I walked to the center.

I howl. That's what wolves do. They howl at the moon and stars. That's what I will do.

I howl for Jade. She will come. She will take me back home to the people I love.
