We were all eating lunch at the picnic table. I've learned so much about my brothers. Matt is going to be the Beta of the pack. Mike will be the top warrior. Jerrold will be Gamma. And Calvin will be Alpha.

"Cassandra?"

A girl about my age comes over. She looks familiar. She had two boys following her.

"I didn't know you left hell yet."

Macy Calder. One of my bullies. My wolf growled.

I gave her a smile.

"This is shocking I didn't think anybody would want trash."

What did I do to you?

'I don't know. She's just one of those bitches.'

She sat a cross from me and next to Matt and Mike who looked ready to kill her.

I took a deep breath. "What do you want Macy?"

"Nothing. I was just being friendly. And by friendly who is that."

She pointed to Calvin and gave him a wink. I growled. Like Calvin and everybody else heard it type of growl.

"I didn't know you were a wolf. You must be the worst on of all!"

I feel Jade push through my mind. She kept repeating that we were a higher rank and deserved more respect.

Calving pulled me into him. The scent of the wind and strawberries filled my nose and started to relax me.

"Someone needs to watch their temper. No wonder why you got put in Room D1."

"Leave." Calvin said. His voice is full of authority. She quickly got up and left. Followed by those two boys.

My mate pulled my up to his lap. I felt calmer. Jerrold spoke up. "Wasn't Room D1 we were about to go in when we meet you for the first time?"

I nodded my head. My favorite t-shirt is in Room D1 covered in my blood.

"What happened before we meet you?"

"Um.. I got in trouble. I climbed back into my room after looking at the stars. The next morning I went into her office and got thrown done a laundry shoot. I ended up in Room D1."

Calvin is already growling. "Sorry, I don't like it when you get hurt."

I gave him a kiss on my check and continued on that day.

"Room D1 is a perfectly white room with a huge door with three locks. There is a broken bed and a wooden weak chair. It's the kind of room that makes yourself hear your heartbeat and go crazy. She left me there. Later she came, and treated me like I lead a bank robbery. She ended up slapping me in the face and punching me in the stomach."

Calvin's growl was much more threatening that time. His eyes were perfectly black.

'Calm mate!'

I don't know how!?

' Just tell him your ok.'

Matt, Mike, and Jerrold are trying to grab me away from Calvin before he shifts and hurts me. This makes him much more angry. They back away from me.

That's wasn't even the worst part of the story...

Calvin shifted into his wolf again. This time it was much more painful. He came between me and my brothers.

I kneeled to the ground and followed what my wolf was saying.

'It's ok... I'm right here. They won't hurt me.'

"It's ok... I'm right here. They won't hurt me."

He puts his around my neck giving me a wolfie hug. He starts to calm down and Jerrold runs back to the house and back to the park. He was getting clothes. Calvin takes them and trotted into the woods.

"What happens next?" Matt and Mike look like they are about the shift too. I didn't realize that.

"I had a headache and she grabbed my hair and threw me into the wall. It's ok. There's no reason to shift."

They don't. They followed my command.

"That's why you were bleeding..."

"Yeah..."

Calvin came back and I pulls me up and started to kiss all over my face. He looked me dead in the eyes.

"If anybody hurts you you come to me."

My brothers had the same goes to them and I just nod my head. He continues to kiss me all over.

"Calvin we get it. She has you scent." Jerrold rolls his eyes at Calvin's action.

"Just making sure."

We spent the rest of the day talking about much joyful things. Like our past Christmas and Thanksgivings.

Calvin always had an arm across my shoulder. The feeling of the sparks were with me all day and I love it.

I've knew every birthday I missed. I knew every cry and laugh. I felt like I've been here all my laugh. Never having to live in an orphanage. Always having my brothers and my mate to protect me.

'But they weren't.'

Whoa. Did you just say that? I have never heard you say a negative comment.

'Knock it off. There talking about Thanksgiving thats coming up.'

First Thanksgiving with my family. First Christmas. First everything!

"Cassandra. We need to talk to you about the pack later on."

Calvin kisses my head. We headed back to the Gamma's house. Calvin thought it would be funny to throw me over his shoulders and run.

It was not, but he was so happy I had to smile and laugh with him.

'You loved it admitted!'

I hate being upside down. Unless I'm painting.

'Or over your mate's shoulder.'

Or over my mate's shoulder.

We reach the house and hang out it Jerrold's messy room. We played card games and board games.

We took turns picking the t.v. channel. Calvin seemed nervous and Jade started to get on edge.

'What if he rejects us?'

What?

'What if he doesn't want us?'

Calvin kisses my check. "It's nothing like that. It's actually the complete opposite."

He grabs my hand and leads me to my room. He carries me over to the window cell. The one we had our first kiss. Wow, that happened yesterday.

I waited for him to tell me what he wanted to talk about?
