You received an invitation from your parents that there be a family reunion on the day your parents were married. You showed howdy the invitation.

Howdy: wow! That's fantastic!
You: I'll send you pics of the family reunion!
Howdy: actually,  I wanna come with you.
You: wait what?
Howdy: I wanna meet your extended family. And I remember you telling me that your little sister loves caterpillars.
You: ok, honey.

On the day of the family reunion, you are greeted by your parents, grandparents,  siblings, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Mom: you said you have someone over.
Dad: who is the one?
You: everyone, meet my husband,  Howdy pillar. He's a caterpillar.

The entire family was surprised to see that you married Howdy. Your little sister squealed in delight that she saw a giant caterpillar.
