Aspen Gonzalez was heartbroken when her
boyfriend of three years broke up with her before the start of their sophomore year of college. In her eyes, their relationship was perfect. Aspen decides she's not going to be torn up about it. It's a new school year, and she can easily find someone new to move on to. And not only was she broken up with, but some of her friends were too. Aspen and her friends decide to create a club together called the "Heartbreak Club", where their mission is to not get back together with their ex, and help each other find someone new to date to make their exes jealous. But what happens when Aspen's ex and her friend's exes also create a club with the intent to help each other get back together with their partners? Will Aspen and her friends give in or will they fall in love with someone they didn't expect?

RULES —

I. Be kind! I am all about being respectful towards others. If I see you being rude to someone else who is applying, or you're rude to me, your oc will not be accepted. If I do accept your oc and you're rude, your character will be replaced with someone else's oc. Also, please do not be upset if your oc is not accepted, I am only choosing the ocs that I best feel fit each slot.

II. Your forms must be detailed. I can't write your character accurately if you don't give me all the info I need on them. Show me you put thought and effort into the form. Detailed forms are most likely to be accepted.

III. Be diverse! I don't want the whole cast to be blonde-haired white people with blue eyes. I don't mind if you do have a white face-claim for your oc, but don't have all of your face-claims be white people. Diversity doesn't just go for ethnicities, have different sexualities and personalities as well. Think outside the box with the personalities, I don't want any Mary Sues. Give them flaws, quirks, etc, just be creative!

IV. Don't be a ghost-reader! If you vote, you must comment as well. I put a lot of thought into this fic and I would love to see that you're enjoying the story and to hear your feedback. If something comes up to where you can't be active, please let me know so that it doesn't affect your oc in any way.

V. Updates! I will my best to update this frequently, however, I'm about to be a freshman in college, so there might be times where this isn't updated for a while. Be patient and don't pressure me to update. I don't mind you asking when I will update. But don't pressure me. That won't make me motivated to write.

VI. Face-claim talk time! The face-claim age range is 19-27. Please, check the ages of the face-claims you want to use before putting them in your form. The ocs are in college and I want the face-claims to be close in age to the characters. They have to be actors and actresses. Face-claims can not be social media influencers or Tiktokers. Face-claims also can't be any  "younger" of an older actor or actress. They have to be modern.

VII. I have 12 slots in total so I will be accepting 11 ocs. You can apply as many times as you want, but have an equal amount of males and females when you apply.

VIII. When you are doing your form, comment your oc's name and their slot and then reply to that comment with the form. I won't be accepting forms that don't follow this format. Google docs are acceptable!

SUMMER SPEAKS!

I've had this idea for a little while and I finally want to publish it since my other afs are kinda getting started.

I'm not sure if I want Aspen & her friends to get back together with their exes or fall in love with the other guys in the Exes club, which would be very messy haha. So, you guys can tell me in the comments what you would like to happen.
