This is the story of my cousin and I, how it started, how he became my half. Without him I won't be complete.

It's the time to go and see everyone one again, Hanan has been so excited. She missed all of them it's been more than a year and half since she's saw her family, the aunts, uncles, grands, cousins, first second and third. And well most importantly him, not that she hasn't talked to him, not long ago.

"What should I wear?" She asked her mom after rummaging through her wardrobe.

"Just know you'll be the one to rearrange all this and something comfortable is okay, I don't want to hear any side talks!". Her mom said throwing her a cloth before going out of the room.

Cars parked all over the front yard. laughter, talks and shouts every. "This is really going to be fun". She thought, though they were a bit late.

As they walk towards the house, they were greeted by some cousins, all polite and nice. They look so beautiful they've all grown up Masha Allah. One thing about her family that is unique is that they don't look down a certain person, the love and respect is always there. Though the children tend to play with each other and can be Sacarstic. Insulting and downgrading isn't their thing, although the older cousins can be mean at times but they care.

Her Mother went inside to see and greet others, while her and brother Ali went into a spare room where most of the older cousins are. The house is really big, they usually have all gatherings and family meetings there. It belongs to their great great grandfather.

She was so happy to see them, though her eyes have been searching for her best cousins, you can call it a crush, her crush.

"Yo! People! Look who's here". Their cousins Adam said shouting before the rest joined. The boys hugging and giving fist bumps, while the girls hugged, smiled and gave compliments to each other.

"You guys look so fresh! You all glowing! Woah tell me the secret". Hanan said to her older cousins.

"Look at you, you glowing more darling. The kids won't allow us to glow". Her oldest cousin said.

"Not me, a kid with a nanny helps". The other said

"Hahaha, I was once like you, I won't bust your bobble though, but you'll know when the time comes babe". She said in a teasing tone before switching the topic laughing out loud.

"Hey Adam, I heard you got a new car. I won't mind getting a free ride you know". Hanan said smiling sheepishly knowing what he'll say already.

"Yeah babe! Free ride!", he said "You wish!". He added under his breath which we all heard and laughed it off. Oldest cousin so yeah super friendly and mean also!

As everyone began to fade into the crowd I followed my brother but lost him also, to the crowd. Moving around going into the i noticed a room, people are definitely inside and the door is slightly open. The oldest male cousins must be inside I'm sure Adam is in to and him, they want no disturbance probably. laughing little she paused as her phone started ringing.

"Hello babe Sabee, what's up?".

"I'm good and all but are you home, I really need to drop this with you. Where are you?". She asked

"I'm not home, I'm in the main house. But you can stop by and drop it, just call me when you're here".

"Alright, but you should stay at the gate so I can give you, it's not serious, I'll give you when I'm back okay? It's a Family stuffs you at I shouldn't just come".

"I'll be waiting for your call. Till you come! Bye!". With that she ended the call, hhh She will be traveling tomorrow and what she wants to drop is very important to me, it's a flash with alot of new and interesting movies. Without it tomorrow myvlife will end. Boredom!

Opening the door and entering with a Salam she saw the older cousins, she guessed right. They hardly come for the family gathering but they did this time, though secluded.

"Oh, sorry I didn't think you guys are here I thought it's them Aisha". She said smiling a bit, she was hundred and one percent that it was them and now she wished she didn't enter the four of them were looking at her.

Where is Adam?

"Wow! Hanan habibty how are you?  It's been a long time since I saw you, come on have a sit". He said giving her the chair he was sitting on, After she said hy to them.

"Close the door, we don't want others to barge in". The other cousin said, putting back his earpiece. He's one of the rude ones. Top one!

"Don't mind him".

"You guys should go out an see others, I mean talk and chat, you only get to see some after many years why you here?". She asked in a whisper tone.

Chuckling a bit he answered "well, habibty we've talked and said hy to the elders and I'm chatting with you". He said shrugging.

She had to sigh at that.

"Ahh! I think I'm just gonna order pizza!". Adam said coming into the room

"Don't tell me you followed me here because you still want that free ride! Come on Hanan!".

Now she's embarrassed, in a funny way.

"Dude!".

"What?".

"Urghh! I don't need your free ride anymore I have other 'lovely cousins' to give me free rides in their new car".

"Yeah whatever". He said taking the water from the table before opening it.

"I won't mind you know". The 'crush' said. Yes!  He was in the room the whole time using his phone.

"See! Thank God you not the only cousin I have".

"And thanks Arif". She said smiling

"Ahhh! I see..." Adam said smirking she felt like squeezing him already.

"I better get going, I didn't see Aisha and the rest, bye Nassif, Arif. I hope to see before going though". She said laughing a bit.

"Yeah, don't worry we'll be out before you go insha Allah". Nassif said

"Well okay".

"Urghh! Go already".

"Adam!!!!".

"Woah!  You are so great!  This are all of your designs? Omg they're so beautiful mashaAllah, may Allah continues to bless our hustle Aisha". She said loking the beautiful fashion designer and her beautiful designs.

"Amin, thanks Hanan".

"You welcome. Let me go and check mom is haven't seen her since we arrived".

"Alright Mama's girl". She teased as they both laughed.

Passing the empty corridor she heard footsteps behind her but did care to look back till she heard the voice.

"Did I do something wrong?". He was standing behind her, too close.

"I thought you were going to stay next to me the whole time!?".

"Don't be silly". She said turning to face making sure no contact

"I want to be with you, always I mean!".

"Come on everyone here let's announce it". He said before dragging her purse.

"Arif! Come on!  Let's talk properly, look there's a chair let's sit". She said trying hard to suppress the smile and laughter coming out of her.

So apparently Hanan and Arif have crush on each other, but Arif made the first move. The started talking and became comfortable with each other as they're now a thing. She wants it to remain between and announce it to the family later on but he's so eager to let them know as he trusts the aunts to start the wedding preparation at once. No time to waste.

"Hanan...". He called sternly, though dragging her name a little bit longer.

"Chill, crush very. Next gathering insha Allah, before everyone leaves. So How about the ride you promised me huh?". She asked looking at him smiling widely

"Hanan.... ".
