Once upon a time, actually it was 1000 years ago, there was a hero who saved the kingdom of Duskeverisle from the forces of darkness: the Demon Lord's army. It's said that in his journey to seal said Demon Lord, he used only one sword. This sword has since been called the legendary hero's holy sword... Yeah... The people who named it didn't have much imagination...

However, after the hero had accomplished his mission and sealed the Demon Lord, he disappeared. Nobody in 1000 years has ever found his whereabouts, or at this point, his bones' resting place, because it's unlikely he survived this long... Another thing that disappeared with him was his sword. The only sword able to beat the Demon Lord.

The forces of darkness have started their move again 7 years ago. Because of that, it has been assumed that the Demon Lord has revived and now wants his revenge on the kingdom of Duskeverisle and the hero who sealed him 1000 years ago. According to a prophecy made 100 years after the hero's disappearance, when the Demon Lord's seal will have faded because seals do that apparently, a new hero will appear, armed with the missing legendary hero's holy sword, to save us all and grant peace to this world by finally beating the Forces of Evil.

And now, for God knows what reason, there I have it, the legendary hero's holy sword, right in front of me...
