Most fictional worlds have a different vocabulary to the planet we live on. But inventing good words for new things in your story is difficult and you may end up with cringe worthy words.

I used the word robo- horse. That is legit a word I used in one of my stories because I PANICKED.

I suggest when you are planning your story, you take some time to think of good names for monsters/types of people/language/plants etc.

When thinking of a name you can make it as weird as you want but I suggest naming things with logic. Think about the Maze Runner and the Grievers- they have a name that is related to death. Don't name your really scaring, alien thing 'Fluffypoo'- maybe think of its powers or how of kills it's prey.

Your names can be as simple or complicated as you want them to be- just make sure they make sense!
