1. Don't ask them for a shoutout. They won't give it to you. It's rude to just message people to increase your own fame.
2. If you're inquiring after a service that they have *cough* my book 'The Bookshop' *cough* read the RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE BOOK.
3. Answer people's questions if they've asked you something- it's common decency.
4. If someone gives you advice- take it! If someone has taken time out of their life to check out your work and give you advice- take the advice!
5. Don't just talk about your life. Ask them about their life.
