It was a sunny day on Dragons Edge, the Gang was currently in the clubhouse and everyone was minding their own business. Hiccup and Astrid were sitting next to each other, holding hands under the table,
Snotlout was talking about how great he was, Ruffnut and Tuffnut were figuring out new pranks and Fishlegs was rereading the Book Of Dragons. Hiccup and Astrid exchanged a bored look, then Hiccup rose from his seat, "I'm going to take a look around the Edge," he said and Astrid looked at him with a betrayed look, saying that he'll regret the decision to leave her with the still gabbling Snotlout. The auburn haired boy just chuckled and left the clubhouse, his dragon right behind him.

Hiccup mounted onto his Night Fury and the black dragon pushed itself off the ground and started flying. They took a look around the edge, looking for anything that might be unnormal or weird. They didn't notice anything until they checked the beach. There was something that Hiccup hadn't seen there before. Something that looked like a small ship wreck, Hiccup decided to take a closer look at it, "come on bud, let's take a closer look."

They landed a few meters away from wreckage and Hiccup got off of Toothless to take a closer look. He approached the destroyed ship and jumped a little bit once he saw someone in there. It looked like a boy around his age, he had brown hair and was a little bit smaller than him. Hiccup sighed and patted the boys shoulder, trying to wake him up. He moved away a little bit once the boy in front of him started moving and then he opened his eyes.

"Where am I?" Was his first question, how am I supposed to know that, was Hiccups first thought, "and who are you?" He asked and Hiccup kneeled down by him.

"I'm Hiccup," he introduced himself and reached a hand to the boy to help him to his feet, "and you're on Dragons Edge."

The boy raised a brow, "Dragons what?" He asked and Hiccup mentally groaned. "I'm Lars by the way," he finally said after a few seconds of silence.

The auburn haired boy nodded, "what happened to you?" He asked Lars and he shrugged.

"I was just sailing to the island I live on when a storm started and my boat crashed," he explained and Hiccup nodded.

"What island do you live on? Maybe we can take you there?" He said and gestured to his black dragon that slowly approached Lars. The boy jumped a little bit, surprised to see a Night Fury right in front of him. "Don't worry," Hiccup assured him, "he won't do anything to you."

Lars nodded, "well, I can't go home without my boat. It's not even mine, if I don't bring it back, my friend will kill me," he said and Hiccup sighed, that means he has to repair his boat and Thor knows how long that will take, but he nodded and gestured to Toothless.

"Well, I should introduce you to the others then," he called out and jumped onto the dragons back. Lars hesitated but followed him and soon they were air born and on their way to the clubhouse where Snotlout and the others were waiting already.

They landed and entered the clubhouse and every eye was on them, "eh, Hiccup, who is this?" Astrid asked and Lars' eyes landed on her and they wouldn't come off anymore.

Hiccup was about to speak up but Lars interrupted him right away, "I'm Lars Holgerson, I'm from Sunstone Island, a pleasure to meet you" he introduced himself and bowed slightly making Astrid roll her eyes, great.

"And what is Lars doing here?" She asked her boyfriend and Hiccup sighed.

"His boat crashed and we have to fix it before he can leave again," he explained and Astrid glared at him. Hiccup gave her a helpless shrug, understanding what she was saying.

"How old are you Lars?" Asked Fishlegs looking up from the Book Of Dragons.

"I'm 17," Lars replied firmly and Fishlegs nodded.

Hiccup walked back to Astrid and sat down next to her again, "I suggest you live with Fishlegs until your boat is fixed," he said and Lars pouted but nodded. Hiccup gestured Fishlegs to show their visitor his hut but Fishlegs shook his head.

"Give me five minutes I want to finish this page," he murmured and Hiccup groaned.

Lars took this as an opportunity to talk to the beautiful young girl next to Hiccup, "so, what's your name?" He asked her and took a few steps towards her.

"Why do you want to know that?" Astrid shot back, obviously not wanting to have a conversation with him.

Lars smirked, "because I want to know the name of the beautiful young lady I'm talking to right now," he said and Astrid groaned. Hiccup just sat next to her and tried not to laugh too hard. He exactly knew that Astrid wasn't into guys like Lars. She didn't like boys with an ego bigger than their brain, that's why he didn't say anything just yet. He'll wait until Astrid asks him to tell their visitor to back off. But Hiccup also knew that Astrid could handle her own problems just fine. Even if he knew that Astrid would never go for a guy like Lars, he felt something in his heart what he never had felt before, he was jealous, for no reason. Five minutes went by and Fishlegs finally finished reading the page about Night Furies in the Book Of Dragons.

They husky boy looked at Hiccup, "You know, we really have to write down some more information about Toothless," he stated, "and, we should start searching for other Night Furies too, Toothless can't be the only one that's left." He said and Hiccup sighed, he'd love to find some more Night Furies so his loyal Dragon wouldn't be the only one of his kind, but they haven't found any yet. But what Hiccup knew, is that he wanted to expand his map and maybe he and Toothless will find another Night Fury .

"Yeah sure," he replied and Fishlegs smiled then turned to Lars.

"Come on Lars, I'll show you my hut," he said and Lars didn't respond since he was busy looking at Astrid up and down. Astrid noticed this and got up, leaving the hut. Hiccup watched her leave and felt a little bit guilty, because he already knew that Lars will annoy his girlfriend while he's at Dragons Edge. "Lars?" Fishlegs said again and the boy snapped out of his trance, "coming," he said and they left the hut too.

Snotlout sat down next to Hiccup, "ya know, Lars is sweet on Astrid," he stated and Hiccup looked at him slightly annoyed. "You should show him that she's yours." And those words really surprised the auburn haired boy, Snotlout was always the one who was obviously chasing after Astrid and now, he was telling him that he should show their visitor that she's his girlfriend.

"Wow," he said, "I never thought I'd hear that from you Snot," he stated and his cousin chuckled.

"Yeah, you know, I always knew that you and Astrid were made for each other," he stated and Hiccup got even more surprised, "I thought you'll understand that she won't be single for ever when I start flirting with her ya know?" he said and Hiccup nodded dumbly. He never thought that Snotlout would say or do such a thing, "so take my advise and show this Lars that she's already taken," he said placing a hand on his cousins shoulder, then he got up and left the hut too, heading for his Dragon.

The only ones left in the club house were the twins and Hiccup and Ruff and Tuff looked at him, "you know, we have to say that Snotman is right, Lars may back off if you show him that you're Astrids boyfriend," the male twin said and Ruffnut nodded in agreement. Then the twins left the hut too, leaving a confused Hiccup behind who had to proceed this whole conversation.

Wow he thought, I never thought that they'll tell me what to do, but they're right...
Then he got up and left the hut as well, heading for Astrids hut, hoping that she was there.

Toothless followed him and they arrived at her hut a few minutes later Hiccup knocked at the door and Astrid opened shortly after. Hiccup was about to greet her but he was interrupted because Astrid grabbed his shirt and hauled him into her hut, slamming the door closed.
"What were you thinking?!" She scolded him, "this boy is even worse than Gustav!" She said and Hiccup sat down on the table in her hut, careful not to sit on one of the daggers that were spread across it.

He sighed, "I know but we have to deal with him until I have repaired his boat," he said and massaged his forehead with his thumbs, "I better start to repair it," he told her and got up to leave the hut again but Astrid grabbed his hand, stopping him, feeling a little bit guilty for putting pressure on him. She knew that he still suffered from the time where he had a bounty on his head and when he was tossed from boat to boat, he acted like it didn't affect him but it did, she could feel it.

"Listen," she said and stood in front of him, gazing right into his tired eyes, "I'm sorry but I just don't feel like I can cope with someone like him at the moment," she admitted and her boyfriend nodded understanding what she meant, "he's annoying, but I didn't want to put any pressure onto your shoulders. You have to deal with enough already, Hiccup, I know that. Even though you act like you don't, you do. And I want you to know that you can always talk to me. You said it yourself, 'there will always be a Hiccup and Astrid', and that's how it is. Okay?" She said and Hiccup looked at her and a small smile lifting his lips.

"Okay," he replied and Astrid smiled too, they leaned in and their lips met for a few seconds until they broke apart, "that.. felt nice," he said and Astrid laughed, Hiccups smile grew wider, "I should start repairing his boat anyway," he sighed, "so he can leave as soon as possible," Astrid nodded and the auburn haired boy was about to leave the hut but stopped right at the door, "uhm, I could use your help by getting the wreckage to my hut," he said scratching his neck.

The blonde girl just laughed, she found it cute when he does that, she then nodded and followed him out of her hut, calling for her Deadly Nadder Stormfly. They made their way to the beach where Hiccup had found Lars earlier, "wow, that thing has seen better days," she stated as she saw the wreckage.

Hiccup nodded, "I guess he's an awful sailor M'lady," Hiccup replied and Astrid blushed at his nickname for her. He had called her that before when they were still fifteen but they were not dating at this time so Astrid just acted like she didn't hear him. They started collecting the pieces of the boat that were still good and brought them back to Hiccups hut, to their surprise Lars sat there. Hiccup glanced at his girlfriend and she rolled her eyes.

"Ah, there you are," Lars smirked and Astrid felt like punching him, but she didn't. "I thought you left me alone with those other people," he whisper-shouted to her, Hiccup's fists clenched at this comment and his knuckles turned white. Astrid didn't seem to notice it since she was glaring at Lars. Lars didn't care and just kept on rambling, "shall we go somewhere private to get to know each other?" He suggested and that was when Hiccup lost it.

"Listen here Lars," he snapped and Lars glared at him, "you have two options, you stop hitting on Astrid when you are just a guest here, or you repair this goddamn wreckage of a boat alone, understood?!" he demanded and Astrid looked at him surprised.

Lars just stood there and started at the auburn haired boy who seemed like he couldn't be angered that easily but was furious at the moment. He nodded dumbly and backed off mumbling an apology.

Astrid turned to Hiccup whose fists where still clenched, "wow, I didn't know you had it in you," she said and rested her hands on his chests, feeling his heart beating fast. Hiccup clearly relaxed and took a deep breath, Astrid leaned close to his ear and bit it softly before whispering, "I like it."

Hiccup smiled and the couple shared a passionate kiss which quickly developed into a make out session in front of Hiccups hut.

eH? I don't know this one kind of sucks and IDK! Sorry for not updating I was kind of busy and didn't had enough motivation to write another one shot, but there you go another one with 2200 words! :') Hope y'all still enjoyed it!
