Chapter 1
Third Person. Let's get this over with.
The Hunters sharpened their knives after another one of CHB's attempts to win at Capture the Flag. Everyone was scattered around the silvery cabin, and talking to each other/their wolves.
Apart from Nebula, who was hanging from a tree carrying a camera grinning to herself. Running back to the cabin, she watched the moon rise and turn it into a glowing building. As she reached the Aphrodite Cabin, she perched the camera she was carrying on the stairs. And ran away as fast as possible, because the perfume. It reminded her of Professor Trelawney's classroom, minus the heat.
Tiptoe past her sisters...carefully put her stuff away...watch out for that floorboard (we really need to fix that) ... say hi to the wolves... get ready for bed...thump.
She fell asleep as soon as she reached her bed.

The next day, Apollo woke everyone up in time to see him speed past them, blasting loud music that broke their eardrums. A few new campers fainted and somehow (and not surprisingly) the Morpheus campers were still snoring away in their beds. Tanya could be heard cursing from all over the camp.
A few hunters scowled. "I'm going to shoot him the next time I see him." Raya played with one of her arrows. The brunette was always doing something dangerous or challenging. And...that was why she was one of the only people Nebula listened to (At least, listened to her orders.). "I'm sure Artemis won't mind. Anyone with me?" A few hands were raised.
Nebula wasn't listening, though.(see?) She was already munching on a piece of bread. (That she enchanted not to age. Being a daughter of Hecate has its perks.) Watching everyone slouch away to breakfast, she took off to explore the forest. She had enchanted this specific piece of paper to map out the places she explored. Taking it out of her bag, she headed towards a clearing she had found yesterday. While she did so, she made a mental note to keep her guard up.
Wild boars and snakes and scorpions. And a weird screaming goat. Carnivorous plants.
She cut a Venus Flytrap tangling around her legs. Devil's Snare. First year...
Shut up, mind. Philosopher's Stone. Winged Keys. The chess board. The troll. Agh!
Nebula sliced at yet another vine in front of her and almost hit her head on a branch.
That was close.
Constant Vigilance, as Moody would say so. Why did they have to shut Hogwarts down again?
As her ADHD mind continued rambling on, she realized she had gone the wrong way. Nebula pulled out her wand. Willow and- well, she didn't know. Her mother had made it for her.
"Point me." she whispered, and watched as it pointed north. Checking her map, she sped off, hacking at leaves and vines.
After a few minutes, she finally got to the clearing and took some time to revel at the beautiful shade of green the grass was, and how blue the lake looked. Nebula smiled. She picked up a stone and threw it, marveling as the clear, still water rippled, catching the rays of the sun.
She was about to set up an archery course with the Mist when she noticed something out of the corner of her eye. What was that? Her hand went to her ring on instinct, and she went to investigate. Careful not to rustle the leaves, she pushed through the bushes and leaves as silently as possible. Nebula ducked behind a tree and watched as greenish sparks appeared out of nowhere. Then they disappeared. Then they reappeared, with even more sparks this time. And then they disappeared. Again, over and over until the light was blinding.
What...?
And, with a gigantic clap of thunder, they formed some kind of...pathway? Portal?
It was like watching a kind of- rustling, live jungle. Beautiful patterns appeared and disappeared with every single wave of green. A...dragon? Then it was gone. Leaves. A Viking Helmet? A shield? The colors were shifting as much as the patterns. Emerald green, then forest green, then somehow turquoise, then back again. It emitted a faint light, casting a soft green sheet over the already-very-much-green forest.
As Nebula stared at its mesmerizing patterns and various shades of green, she didn't think it would start sucking everything around it inside. It was quite a surprise, but not.
Oh, shit! Gods, I should've known this would happen. IN PRACTICALLY EVERY. SINGLE. STORY. EVER. Note to selfdonotgonearsparklyportals. Shit, shit, shit-
Nebula grabbed a tree along the way. Meanwhile, everything around her was being uprooted and somehow managing to fit inside the portal. Oh. My. GODS. Next thing she knew, ferns, bushes and a literal tree were aiming towards her face. She managed to maneuver herself behind the tree, which was bending down incredibly low.
Ccccccrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaacccccckkkkkk.
With an almighty crack and crash, the tree was pulled out of the ground, roots and all.
Shit.
As she looked back at the portal, she noticed an inky black color streaking through it, merging with the green. She had seen that color when she had been claimed, after all, and talked to the one whom owned those onyx eyes. She had those eyes herself.
Why did she just start rambling about eyes?
My mother's eyes? What in tarnation...
With that thought, she was gone.

When Nebula disappeared, Amy looked away from the screen and flinched as another headache came crashing into her. Her eyes felt like they would pop out of their sockets. She flinched again as flashes of light appeared across her vision. Between them she saw many scenes and pictures, but she didn't care. One stood out more that the others, though. She fought through the pain and rushed through the timeline.
She's going to help me, she reassured herself. She's going to help...
After the pain subsided, she gave her worried friends a weak smile they returned, though their eyes held worry.
"There's a way to stop it." she said. Her voice was slightly wobbly, and one of them forced a brown square down her throat. She didn't register the taste of cookies, although she felt much, much better.
"How?" Ingrid asked, rather impatiently, and Amy remembered to shut the voices out.
"We just have to wait," she said. She wished she could speed it up using her powers, but she needed to see what happened. Until the ice melts, her mind finished. Ugghhhhh.
She glanced at the How To Train Your Dragon screens, as Nebula tumbles out of the portal.
She'll entertain herself by reading fanfictions. She'll be with her friends. And hope there aren't more headaches.
She can survive. She will survive.
She can do this.
