The little dwarf things tied me against a tree, forcing me not to move. I had no idea where I was, and Bill had fallen off when I was captured.

I struggled against the ropes they had used to tie me, feeling the parts that poked out scratching my wrists as I tried not to wince in pain.

"So, are you ready to begin the ceremony?" The gnome with brown hair said as he walked over to me, a smile on his face.

My glare sharpened. "I'd rather die than marry you!!"

"Oh c'mon, marrying all one thousand of us and becoming our queen for all of eternity isn't that bad."

"Marry yourselves, you one foot freaks!!!"

"Ooh, we got ourselves a feisty one, fellas!" They all cheered at his sentence, and I was about to lose it!

However, I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down. "Look, I don't know who you are or what your kind has been through, but you can't just force someone into marriage! Especially not by tying them to a tree!!"

The gnome let out a laugh, as if I had just said a casual joke. "But if they weren't tied up, they'd run away, you silly goose!"

There we as really no arguing with them, was there..?

I felt a bit of blood drip down from my wrist, all my struggling was messing with the skin on them which hurt like hell.

Letting out a sigh, I rested my head against the tree, looking up at the sky. This is it, this is where my life ends.

"Not yet, kid."

At the sound of a new voice, I felt the rope around my legs and wrist disappear, making my eyes grow wide. But I couldn't just run away, they'd easily notice and capture me again.

I felt something land on my head, seeing tiny white flowers on my hair. "The bride is ready now!" One of the gnomes spoke, and a few others, including the one with the brown beard on top, leaned over to stand in front of me.

"Now, let the ceremony be-" Before he could finish his sentence, I bawled my hand into a fist, harshly punching his face. He flew back as the gnomes underneath fell, and I took this as an opportunity to run.

I ran and ran as fast as my legs could, afraid of what they might do to me if they could find me, but it wasn't long until the ground began to shake, seeing a large shadow looming over me.

"YOU JUST MADE A BIG MISTAKE, GIRL!!!"

I gulped, but I didn't stop running. I wanted to go back to the shack, back to the comforts of my bed, this was suppose to be a relaxing trip!!!

A gasp escaped my lips as I forced myself to stop, seeing myself beside the edge of a cliff. My blood ran could as I turned back to see the large gnome monster stomping over, backing away as far as I could.

"Come with us peacefully, or will have to make you by force!!!"

"Take a hint already, I don't want to marry you!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, struggling to keep tears from falling out.

The monster roared loudly, sending a gust of strong winds in my direction. I tried my hardest to stay in place, but my ankle tripped over a rock, and I was forced to fall back into the abyss.

I screamed in terror, seeing my short life flash before my eyes.

Tightly closing my eyes, I awaited the worst, preparing for the impact that would finish my life once and for all.

... but it never came.

Instead, I felt two arms holding me tightly, my eyes shooting open at the feeling. I saw a dark eye staring down at me, seeing Bill carrying me up to the other side of the cliff.

He carefully place me on the ground, keeping an arm around me for balance. "You okay, kid?"

"W-What just- h-how did- what-?!?"

"Okay okay, to bed you go." He said before picking me up once more, making me let out a squeak in surprise.

"H-hey, I didn't give consent to this!!"

"Calm down, I just saved your life."

"HEY, YOU!!!" We both looked over at the gnomes, who seemed angrier than ever. "GET BACK HERE WITH OUR QUEEN!!!"

"You really don't know how to treat your ladies." Bill replies, starting to fly away.

We reached my bedroom, and he gently placed me down on the bed. I was still shaking for all that happened.

I was kidnapped, I almost died!

But Bill, he- ... he saved me..?

"Why did you do that..?"

"Do what?"

"Back at the cliff.. You saved me.. Why..?"

He shrugged. "It's kinda my job now to keep you safe. You freed me from that prison, now I serve you."

I stayed quiet, I've only been here a few days, yet so much has happened..
