💛 Chapter 21: When Hell Comes To Earth 💛

~~~~~~~~~Your POV~~~~~~~~~
"You're really leaving already..?" I heard Mabel said, clearly saddened as both her and her brother stood beside my car as I placed my last bag in the trunk. "You still have a few days left..!"
I gave the best smile I could, though I didn't care if it seemed obviously forced. "Sorry, Glitter, but I will need a bit to prepare myself to continue college.." I closed my trunk, walking over to them. "But I'll back someday, okay..? And maybe you guys can visit me too.."
"We'll definitely try.." Dipper added with a small smile.
I placed a kiss on Mabel's head and softly ruffled Dipper's cap before sitting at the driver's seat, giving them another wave before driving away from the Mystery Shack.
After placing my GPS out of town and turning on the radio, I only focused on the road that lied ahead of me, doing my absolute best to keep myself from crying one more time.
It's not that I wanted to leave my siblings, spending these past few weeks with them has been fun..!
But...
Everything surrounding him, it- ... it felt like my heart kept being stabbed repeatedly...
But I also feel so dumb, I should've expected this from a demon, a creature made of evil...
I had no one to blame but myself...
No one to be angry at except myself...
-BEEEEP-
I let out a scream as I slammed by foot into the brake pedal, the sound of a car's honk knocking me away from my thoughts and waking me up. I was always to stop my car before hitting the other driver, and I hadn't noticed I was at a stop light.
Tightly gripping the staring wheel, I let my head fall on the top of it as tears streamed down my face. I had cried so many times recently that I had honestly lost count...
God, I'm such a mess right now...
What else could go wrong...?
I sniffled, wiping some of my tears away with my sleeve as I looked up, my eyes widening almost instantly.
A cold chill filled up my car as the sky slowly turned to a blood red with dark purple clouds, lightning visible in them. The sun had disappeared from sight, and everything turned as dark as a stormy evening.
Is this another Gravity Falls supernatural thing I wasn't told of? Some red storm? Because that would've been good to know.
However, I felt the grown suddenly start to roughly shake, forcing my to grip the staring wheel in a panic. Turning to my window, I saw a tall tree starting to fall in my direction. Acting out of instinct, I quickly ran out of my car, jumping as far away as I could as I heard the tree completely destroy my car.
With the adrenaline still pumping through me, I looked around, noticing I was the only one in this road, I was surrounded by forest, with no civilization in sight.
Seriously, I had the worst luck!
My blood ran cold as I heard a low growl from behind, quickly turning to see whatever was there. Out of the trees walked out a sight I had wished I never witnessed; a set of teeth with legs began to laugh as it faced in my direction.
I wanted to run away, but my feet seemed to be glued on the ground. More loud cackles left the abomination before it began to run at me. Finally, I let out a scream and zoomed away with the adrenaline that was still in me.
Where was I going? I had no idea, I just knew I needed to stay alive.
Not long after that though, I was forced to stop as the ground shook again, this time with more forced. I fell to my knees as a crack began to grow on the ground in front of me, a red mist appearing from it.
I had only grown paler as bright yellow eyes staring at me from the opening, many small yellow, dog-like creatures jumping out, laughing their guts off.
Without hesitation, I tried to run away once more, hearing the loud ruckus those monsters made as they chased after me. I didn't even care that my stamina was quickly deflating, and that my lungs desperately craved a calm breath of air.
That's when I got an idea, quickly climbing the tallest tree I could find. I didn't know if they could climb, but at least I could take a small break.
I sat on one of the branches, which was big enough to keep my weight as I tried to catch my breath, unable to keep myself from trembling. I could see the creatures all trying to climb up, still laughing so much.
After a while, I hugged myself and gripped my arms, feeling the tears down my face.
What the hell was happening...?!?
Thanks for reading!!! 'Till next time!!!
