Hm. The famous two words, "I'm fine" it can mean a million different things, it could mean that something is okay, or something is totally wrong. Whenever someone says to me or I say to them "I'm fine" or "we're fine" I atomically assume that it means the opposite, that we aren't fine or I'm not fine. Whenever I tell people I'm fine I want them to ask what's wrong, some people do that, and some people don't. The meaning behind saying "I'm fine" is to see who really does care.
