You don't want to be with someone who you can't see yourself with. If you know you like this person and you want to be more than friends with this person there is only one way to find out. The question would be "can you see yourself with this person?" If you could then that could be the right person for you, if you can't see yourself with them then it most likely isn't the right person, you might have to get to know them more first. And if that doesn't work then it wasn't the right person for you.
