When we went back to school Monday I wasn't expecting for Mason to run up to me and talk like we were best friends because I had been really holding back on this "friendship" thing, and we had only been "friends" for a day or two I can't remember

I never liked having friends after Tommy's death it was just another person that could let you down and leave you I always prefer to be alone. 

" Carter how was your weekend" Mason asked 

"Fine" "Yours"

"It was okay I went to this beach house with Sarah for our anniversary" Mason said but for some reason I wish I was with you

"Oh sounds fun I guess"  I don't know why I felt this pang in my chest when he told me that, was I falling for you....no no stop carter you don't like him you don't want to be his friend or boyfriend , maybe I d- ugh what is wrong with me 

"Lets hang out after school okay?" 

"Do I really have a choice"

"Nope see you later" Mason said and walked away with a smug look on his face

"What a dick"

" Hey I'm going to take a shower real quick be right back make your self at home" 

After I nodded he walked away to what I am assuming is the bathroom leaving me alone in his room.

Looking around I notice a lot of pictures with his family they look so happy , I remember when my family was like now I don't eve feel like my house is a home it is more like a torture dungeon I never know what is going to happen or when it is  I just want to leave but I have nowhere to go and no one to turn to.

I heard Mason walk back into the room "Are you staying for dinner" turning around I saw that he had nothing but a towel around his waist and damn was he packed I mean I expected nothing else from him but - 

"Done staring" he laughed 

"I-i-i ummm. I WASN'T STARING" 

"Yeah, I mean I have not problem with it you can look all you want"

Was he being serious "W-w-why would I" I said nervously 

"I don't know you tell me, your the one who is still staring" he laughed

"Ugh" I could feel my face turning red why was he making me like this 

" You never answered my question"

" Yeah sure"

He nodded while he walked to his closet to get clothes. 

Am I attracted to him? 

Do I like guys? 

What is he making me feel?
