Time went on. Sometimes Edge went to Underswap and Sometimes Carrot went to Underfell and SOMETIMES they went to a whole other AU. It was a whole new experience that Carrot enjoyed every time as Edge asked curious questions and and met new versions of Sans, himself, and others. Soon an entire year went by. Than two. Than three. Blue was getting very impatient with his brother. He was very happy for Carrot, but what was taking him and Edge so long to get married?! And have nieces and nephews?! He huffed and waited for Carrot to return from where ever he and Edge were.

Carrot paused at his front door. He could practically sense Blue hiding in wait for him, ready to pounce the moment he opened the door and chew him out for not proposing. He and Edge were WELL aware that Blue wanted them to get married, it had been three years now since they got together. Edge seemed content with what they had. Carrot had considered taking that step forward, he still had the ring in his lab. He'd chickened out last minute, deciding that he wasn't ready for that step yet. He teleported to his room to avoid Blue.

Edge was ready. He was going to find the perfect ring and propose to Carrot. It took three long years to build his confidence to this point, he couldn't afford for it to falter. Finally, after three years, he could say those words that meant so much to Carrot. 'I love you.' Blue would finally get his wish. He decided to browse Undertale since Underfell would have virtually nothing. To his surprise, Classic even offered to help. "YOU KNOW, IF YOU WANT TO MARRY MY BROTHER, I'M FINE WITH IT."
"sorry bro, we're already married. never thought we'd get your blessing, but it's appreciated." Edge didn't blame them.

Eventually Blue realized that Carrot was already upstairs. He wasn't escaping so easily. "BROTHER!!!! YOU NEED TO PROPOSE!!! EDGE IS WAITING ON YOU." Blue yelled stomping upstairs to have an actual conversation with his brother, rather than this yelling contest. "'m pretty sure he's fine the way things are bro." Carrot defended as Blue slammed his door open. "THAT'S WHAT YOU BOTH THINK, BUT IMAGE JUST HOW MUCH HAPPIER YOU WOULD BE IF YOU POPPED THE QUESTION! I KNOW I PROBABLY SOUND PUSHY, BUT I'M ACTUALLY LOOKING OUT FOR YOU AS YOUR BIG BROTHER." Blue held a box out to Carrot. "you seriously dug through my lab to hand me this?" Blue nodded sheepishly. "S-SORRY... JUST.. THINK ABOUT IT?" Blue asked. Carrot sighed. "i'll think about it."

Edge called Carrot, asking him to meet him where they first met. In Snowdin's woods. "ya seriously doin' this, bo-bro?" Red asked. Edge nodded. "I LOVE HIM. IT'S TIME TO TAKE THAT STEP FORWARD." Red wasn't used to Edge saying something like that. "... ok then. good luck, bro. i wish ya happiness."
"YOU AND CLASSIC AS WELL."

Carrot clutched the ring box tightly. He was gonna try again. He walked through the trees finding Edgy waiting patiently. "heh, hey edgy. long time no see." Edge rolled his eyelights. "IT'S BEEN 5 HOURS." Carrot hugged Edge nonetheless. "it's 5 hours to long.." Carrot replied jokingly. "so, what's up buddy? i kinda got to talk to you after this." Edge nodded. "I WON'T TAKE LONG." Carrot gestured for him to continue. "HONEY... I AM NOT VERY GOOD WITH WORDS, BUT THESE LAST THREE YEARS WERE THE BEST YEARS OF MY LIFE. IT IS BECAUSE YOU WERE THERE WITH ME. AND I WANT YOU TO BE MY SIDE FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES... I LOVE YOU, CARROT, AND I WANT TO MARRY YOU." Carrot was stunned as Edge dropped down and opened a ring box to reveal a blue gem with a gold band around it. The ring. Carrot couldn't help but laugh, much to Edge's confusion... and hurt. "i'm sorry, i'm sorry. blue's been pestering me to pop the question, yet here you are! of course i'll marry ya!" The two shared a kiss while Blue, Red, and Classic cheered and celebrated in the background.
