Nia's pov: 

Something about the way Gannon spoke those words encouraged my mind to wander off to places it shouldn’t. My eyes traveled down to Gannon’s thick arms that could easily lift me up. 

That is if what happened earlier wasn’t just pure adrenaline on his part. I trailed my eyes lower, taking in his long legs. 

I’m sure that he could hold me up just fine. Hold me up and sink me down on his hard shaft. 

Auden could provide support by coming up behind me, sandwiching me between them. Telling me how pretty I look while he twists my nipples just right. 

Kissing and sucking on my neck from Gannon, distracting me with pleasure. I would gasp feeling Auden’s other head at my other entrance. 

He’d whisper in my ear, “Relax Sweetness. We’ll take good care of you.”

Then he’ll push in and I’ll feel so full and stretched, I might lose my mind. I let my eyes trail back up to Gannon’s face. 

Taking in his rose beige skin, lightly covered in freckles on his defined cheekbones, across his nose, and on his forehead. 

His deep-set emerald eyes, sculpted greek like nose, pale rose lips that just begged to be kissed, surrounded by his light red stubble on his strong jaw. 

One of his eyebrows was raised and his lips are curled in a smirk. What could be making him have that expression? Can he read minds? Did I say my fantasy out loud? 

I let go of my lower lip, my eyes widened a bit at the horrible possibility. I took a breath, people can’t read minds. 

But after what my uncle told me who knows if these guys are even human! I turned my head taking in the sight of Auden’s face. He was looking at me with eyes filling with a hunger that sent shivers down my spine. 

I looked away from him, finding the concrete very interesting. I let out a nervous laugh. I have to be misinterpreting his expression. How could he find me desirable? But I could be wrong. 

I bit my lower lip harder at the possibility before I lifted my head again, “So lunch?”

Auden smiled at me as he looked at me up and down. Did he think I was on the menu? Our eyes locked and I got the feeling that if I allowed it, he would gladly eat me right now. I swallowed as that thought came with erotic imagery.

"With you and him", Auden pauses to give Gannon the same stare he gave me, "The answer will always be yes.''

I blinked in surprise from his serious yet flirtatious tone. He can't actually be flirting with me, right? 

This has to be a joke. I'm just some broken girl that always gets left behind. 

Auden would leave me behind as well. I shook my head lightly to rid myself of those thoughts. 

I turned my head in Gannon's direction just as a ringtone went off. I jumped from the unexpected sound, turning back to face Auden. He scowled as he pulled out a phone from his pocket. The wolf beside him, named Max growled loudly. 

"I have to take this", Auden seemed to growl out the words, matching Max’s growls. 

Auden took a few steps away, answering his phone, his wolf following after him. The sound of Gannon's voice made me turn back towards him, "Are you sure you're alright?" 

"Yes really, you don't need to be so concerned", I told him in a quick reassuring tone as I lifted my hands up and waved them back and forth. 

"You nearly died. Perhaps you're in shock" Gannon took a step closer to me as he looked over my face and body more slowly than before. 

I shook my head, as a few giggles left me. I waved my right hand in a dismissive manner as I spoke, "This isn't my first brush with death. I really am fine. I just want to pay you back for helping me." 

Gannon looked surprised, yet before he could speak more he was interrupted.

Auden walked back over to us. The scowl still on his face as he said, "Can we rain check. I have to get to work, unfortunately."

"Oh. That's fine. Go to work, have a good day", I encouraged him as a sudden sadness settled in my chest, just as it did when Roger and Cody left. 

I didn't dare dwell on why I was feeling that sadness. I crouched down and gave his wolf, Max one more good petting. Once that was done I stood up and waved at Auden as he pulled me into a hug.

I gasped but hugged him back, finding comfort in the action rather than uncomfortableness. After that Auden gave Gannon a hug as well, then he was walking away from us. 

"And then there were two", Gannon said as he stepped in front of me with an almost cheeky grin. 

"Unless you get called into work as well,'' I said teasingly as I shifted my bag strap on my shoulder. 

"I'm the owner, so there's a small chance of that happening", He informed me with a wink. 

He lifted a hand up, stroking his stubbly chin before he asked, "Where do you want to go for lunch?" 

"Uh somewhere cheap since I'm paying, but it's your choice,''I told him as I shifted my weight.

 I suddenly realized we were just blocking the pathway of the sidewalk. So, I turned towards the park, walking over to one of the benches. 

Gannon followed me as he asked, "Where do you work? If you don't mind my asking" 

"I don't work, I fuck!", My sentence changed because out of the corner of my eye I saw a spider coming down with the help of their webbing, right next to us. 

I didn't like spiders anywhere near me. So I jumped and moved backward until I stumbled and nearly fell. Gannon rushed forward, wrapping an arm around my waist to keep me from falling. I grabbed onto his forearms for extra support, as I tried to calm myself. 

"I'm sorry. That spider startled me, thanks", I spoke fast as I realized how annoying it must be to save a girl twice in one day. 

Gannon straighten our bodies so that we are properly standing. He lifted a hand, his fingers tracing my jawline as he spoke, "It's alright. No need to apologize. Though I do want to know what you do, besides fucking." 

My face felt hot from his teasing and the warm shivers going through me. A feeling I only get when he touches me, skin to skin. I turned my head away from him as I scoffed, "I don't fuck. I'm a college student."
