Marinette looked back at Chat, she excepted him to give her a look of judgment but instead, he had a calm expression on his face. He stood up and walked beside the woman before asking:

- Come with me........please.- Marinette heard the servants sights, all at the same time, probably relieved that their Master asked her so polity. Of course, he heard it too and turned his head towards them, glaring. All of them went silent, looking in different directions and a small but smug smile plated on their faces. Marinette softly giggled before she stood up and nodded softly to the monster before her as a gesture that she'll follow him.

He began to walk, stopped before the door and opened it, letting Marinette pass first then he turned back to the servants, probably to order them to don't come after them. Then he turned back to the young woman, who walked beside him and during their walk, she tried to slowly touch his side but he started to groan even before her hand could even brush against him. Marinette got the message and didn't tried to touch him again during their walk.

This walk had ended at a big double wooden door at the back of the mansion. Chat opened one of the doors and motioned to Marinette to "Ladies first", the woman slowly walked past him and into a large balcony.

She walked until the very end of the balcony where she heard the big door close and Chat walked to her side so they could enjoy the view. From that balcony the whole valley was visible, the smell of the fresh leaves swam in the air and the montages were at a perfect place so they could capture the last glimpses of the sun shines as they climb down the sky.

The view was perfect and it filled Marinette with joy and inspiration. She was amazed by how many things have happened with her within a day. Now, in their current situation, she found the big cat-monster...kind and since he was calm he didn't seemed threatening at all. In fact, when she felt the cold freeze hit her exposed skin, she found it a good idea to lean against him. He didn't seemed to mind as Marinette slowly snuggled close to him. His fur was very soft and very warm, he was almost like a big coat.

He also noticed how the woman shuddered from the cold so he softly layed down in a half-laying, half-sitting position, with her between his forelegs and his head on one of her shoulders. Both of them were comfortable, maybe it was a bit awkward but they didn't mind it. Marinette softly blushed, not looking at Chat who let a small smile slip on his lips.

Up above, Alice the angel couldn't help but smile, she knew when she has chosen this woman, that she'll see what's behind the terrifying look. Unfortunately, Discord the demon was right behind her, a disgusted frown on his face.

He was disgusted by the fact that even a simple human can love a monster yet he, even if he was a god, everyone hated him, called him a monster. Didn't he deserve to be loved?

His eyes slowly wandered towards the goddess, looking at her perfect porcelain skin, ocean blue eyes that shined like the moonlight............And that truthful, kind and warm smile that held the happiness of the world. He always felt "butterflies" in his stomach. There weren't any words to describe he could use to tell how badly he wanted to see that smile every day and how badly he wanted to make her smile.

But as the humans' sins grow every day, her smile faded little by little, she became sadder and sadder. He was sure that all of those filthy humans were to blame, that was the main reason why he wanted to end them. The other reason was their disgusting happiness, how they enjoyed their wicked lifestyle and blamed the gods for the misery and wrong choices they made? But if he wanted to be honest.....he felt somewhat jealous. How come they love and be loved when he who had power over them couldn't?

He would do anything for the angel's love and attention. He knew that those filthy creatures hurt her feelings, that's why he mustn't let the angel win their bet. Even if he loved to see her smiling like that, he promised himself that he'll make them disappear no matter what. For her, for his sweet angel.

Little did he knew, the main reason for Alice's sadness wasn't because of humans. Of course, she was upset about the human's behavior but she accepted how they changed as time went. Also, those so-called "corrupted" humans were the reasons, that she could see Discord more and more often.

But his coldness towards her was agonizing. Deep down, she knew that the demon doesn't love her and all this time when they stood side-by-side, she couldn't see any expression on his face. He barely laid his eyes on her but when he did, she could feel the burning fire in his soul, hate, anger, jealousy..........Every negative human feeling on his shoulders, a real burden. Yet, he seemed like none of it ever effected him, he stood his ground, hard. That strength always her and made her adore him even more. But that emotionless look, those empty eyes, and the ice-cold stare always sent shivers down her spine.

She couldn't help but feel sorry for him. She knew that inside he suffered yet, he never asked for help, for her help. She could feel how her smile slowly fading from sadness. She was a goddess, strong, powerful, she holds the positivity and the warmth of the world........But she couldn't help the one she loved. Even if he didn't love her, she did love him. And wanted to do something for him. She hoped, that by seeing the relation between this human woman and that cat-like monster, he would understand. He deserved to be loved as much as he deserved to love.

And if he does understand......She'll tell him. Even if he laughs, gets angry or rejects her.......She'll be honest and tell him how she felt.

Little did she know, that Discord played against her plans.
