     VITANI SANTOS loves a challenge. Luckily, she fueled most of her energy towards writing for the Forks High newspaper. Despite her love for journalism, the head editor refused to offer her more hard-hitting pieces, believing she should stick to her advice column. Vitani's growing weary of boring articles, and she becomes inspired by her friend, Valentina's, romantic troubles. Vitani decided to begin writing women's common mistakes in relationships by having an experience for herself. The head editor adored the idea and sends Vitani to work in order to lose a guy in ten days.

     Paul Lahote was tired of constantly having to run patrol. Sam Uley insisted it was for the good of the town, but Paul was exhausted. Jared Cameron proposed an idea — if Paul could get any girl to fall in love with him in ten days, he wouldn't have to run patrol for a whole month. Paul was intrigued by the idea, lured in by such a beneficial offer. He accepted the bet, and Jared soon picks his target — the brilliant Vitani Santos.
