Well, that question is the topic of my next rant.

Okay, non-Moonwalkers. Sit down; let me tell you a little something about Moonwalkers.

When you ask, "What's your favourite song by Michael Jackson?", don't expect an answer any time soon ... okay?

Because the chances are, it's nigh on impossible for said Moonwalker to choose a favourite song by Michael.

Why? I hear you ask.

Well, I'll explain, my good friend!

Basically, Michael Joseph Jackson, of Gary, Indiana, was the King of Pop. Still is, actually. He created hundreds of songs for our enjoyment, and each one of those wonderful songs is beyond perfection. Of course, there's hundreds of unreleased ones too, which widens the range of songs he has.

If a Moonwalker hears all of those songs at least once, it's pretty much guaranteed that said Moonwalker is going to fall in love with it instantly.

Now, do you realise how difficult that makes it for a Moonwalker to choose what song they like the best? I'll answer for you – it makes it extremely difficult.

Some, however, may have a song or two that sticks out for them; one or two songs that really resonate deeply for them, or that they just enjoy hearing slightly more than some others. That doesn't mean that they are their favourite songs – it just means they have a more personal meaning to them, or it just gives them a little kick from hearing it.

I think it's well-known that In The Closet is my personal kick, and though I say it's my favourite, it's actually just as special to me as his other songs. I only call it my favourite to make it simpler for my non-Moonwalker friends. If a random person asked me what my favourite song is, I would use the "How could you ask me that question?" from the Oprah interview from 1993. (Hehe, I love the way he says that, bless him).

So yeah. There you have it.

Non-Moonwalkers, unless your main desire is to see a Moonwalker give you a dirty look, or just a look of disbelief, then go ahead and ask that question.

If you don't wish to see this side of a Moonwalker, then just don't ask. It's simple!

This rant wasn't as serious; more lighthearted than anything. However, I still believe that it's somewhat relatable.
