"Michael Jackson had problems"

(Long chapter)

Right ... this one is actually pretty interesting, and I feel my opinion on this will bring a little controversy.

Oh well. Imma tell you my opinion anyway.

Who else has seen comments on Facebook, Twitter or any other social networking site, saying this:

"Michael Jackson has problems and we all know that"?

It's an interesting yet assertive statement, I think. Let's just go through this a little.

First off: "We all know that"? Please; Moonwalkers won't accept those four words to be true. However, there are people in the world who believe that everyone should agree with their opinion ... and that's just wrong.

What I'm going to say next is what may cause some controversy. Just as a heads up, I want you to know that this opinion does not make me think any less of Michael, and I'm still a devoted Moonwalker. Michael is my entire world, and I would never say any of this to dig at him or be mean.

But honestly? We kind of have to admit that he had problems. He's human; all humans have problems, imperfections and flaws. However, because of the high level of love we have for Michael, we see past that, and just say, "Oh, Michael Jackson is perfect".

Of course, I say that all the time, because Michael is perfect when you see past the normal, typical human flaws a person can have. But you can't say that he was problem free, because no human is.

Probably not my brightest idea to bring this up, but we need to remember he suffered from a drug addiction – a major one at that. He tried to control it, of course, and we should admire him for that. Nevertheless, he had this problem, and it is essentially what killed him.

Now, before you bite my head off, I want to add this: it was not his fault that he became addicted to drugs; if anything, it was technically Pepsi's fault, due to the Pepsi incident involving the burns to Michael's hair in 1984. This led him to taking medication to ease the excruciating pain – thus causing him to depend on painkillers.

There is also another topic I would like to express my opinion on: his childhood.

Now, we all know that he didn't have much of a childhood, don't we? Well ... I think that's the trigger of another element of his life that is seen as a "problem".

We all know that Michael and his father didn't have the greatest relationship when Michael was a child; to me, that's what caused any kind of "problem" people claim Michael had.

Because of this bad relationship with his father, Michael became more of a child himself in adulthood. Whilst some would say that's strange and bizarre, I can't help but find it cute, and also ... sad. He missed his real childhood, so he's had to recreate it in adulthood.

Going off on a slight tangent here, I want to get a point off my chest. If Michael was forced to live as an adult in his childhood years, then how come people find it weird that he lived as a child in adulthood? Being a child in adulthood is weird and strange, yet him being an adult in childhood is completely normal and shouldn't even be thought about.

It pisses me off; it's just like the Vitiligo sh*t.

"People sit out in the sun all day to get darker; nobody says nothin' about that."

– Michael Jackson, February 1993.

It's the same in this case.

"People live as adults even when they're only a child. Nobody says anything about that."

– Becky, aka MissJackson777, September 4, 2016.

Getting back to the actual point now, because I went off on a little tangent there. :3

To us Moonwalkers, Michael recreating his childhood is both beautiful and sad. However, a non-Moonwalker's logic is; if a grown man acts like a child, then they're clearly insane. Their sanity must be questioned. Famous or not.

Hell, even Moonwalkers themselves must feel that way sometimes. Personally, I don't, but ... perhaps seeing a grown man acting like a child is a little strange for some peoples. I don't know; I can't read some fellas.

Before anyone says anything, I find nothing wrong with those who are naturally excitable and childlike; I'm like that myself. It's so much fun being hyper and all of that, so I don't blame anyone for that.

I'm trying to say is that ... it's rare these days, which ... I guess could be the reason why so many people see it as a "problem".

I'm trying to see it from a non-Moonwalker point of view; hence, the more ... I dunno. Controversial? Perhaps. "Controversial" section above. But now I'm looking at it, I'm struggling, because Michael isn't like a typical human being – he's unique, and exciting, and unpredictable, and magical, and special. No-one would ever be like Michael!

Anyway ... moving on ...

When haters say "Michael Jackson had problems", what problems do they exactly mean? I've always wanted to know.

Like ... aside from the drugs and lack of childhood, he didn't really have any problems! Though despite this, a lot of haters argue that he had a "Plastic Surgery Problem".

I'm sorry, but how can you have a problem in the plastic surgery department? And how could Michael – of all people – have that problem? Yes, his face changed – us Moonwalkers ain't denying that – but that doesn't mean it was all down to plastic surgery!

For a start – and I've said this many times – Vitiligo. I've still not gotten over the response I got once when someone said "I thought he got plastic surgery to turn himself white". I swear some people are dumb. 😂

Joking aside, Michael didn't have as much plastic surgery as people say. Two nose surgeries – one for the teasing he received, as well as having broken his nose, and the other to aid his breathing – that's all. The other was a chin cleft.

How is that a lot?

How does that automatically mean "Plastic Surgery Problem"?

It doesn't.

Another problem I've seen people write about is "His relationship with children".

Like seriously ... you kill me. 😆🙄

His relationship with children is healthy; I'm sick and tired of people automatically thinking "Child molester" when they hear Michael's name, because he's innocent, and proven so.

And his love for children is only because of a lack of a childhood – brought to you by Joseph Jackson.

By the way, I do not hate Joseph; he helped Michael achieve fame, and his sperm helped to create a King, God damn! Bet he never knew that would happen in 1957 now, did he?

Getting back on to the point, any child-related "problems" kind of relate to Joseph or Michael's upbringing. It's almost sort of a blessing that Joseph treated Michael that way – not because of what he did – but because that gave Michael the beautiful love for children that he has.

And I'm pretty sure he even said that himself on an interview. 🤔 Can't hate Michael for his own words. ❤️

I'm going to go out on a limb here, though, with a tiny speck of another opinion.

If Michael did – by any chance – have any kind of problem, then I believe honestly (no hate intended at all!) that the problem would have been caused by Joseph, his lack of a childhood, Vitiligo or Pepsi's pyrotechnics. At the moment I can't really think of any other factors, so when I think of more, I'll add them here.

My point is, I believe that Michael was far from perfect – just like every human being – but because us Moonwalkers see through those potential flaws, we find him perfect.

I find him perfect, because I see through the flaws.

Moonwalkers find him perfect, because they see through the flaws.

Anyone who finds him perfect sees through the flaws.

Why?

Because we bloody love him. ❤️

That's all.

Again, please don't hate me for this. I know I said a few things that could cause arguments or whatever (the drug or Joseph thing), but my opinion does not make me think any less of Michael. You surely know that he's my entire world. 🌍💖

Peace. ✌🏼
