Now, this one is quite strange for me. I rarely drink, despite my character. And username. ;) Yeah, I like drinking rum (No I am not kidding) with Coke, Bacardi and Coke is good too, but I know my limit. I haven't gotten drunk because I've never really had more than one drink. Maybe two or three if I'm lucky. I don't go out to parties or raving or whatever because I don't like that sort of thing. No I'm not a stick in the mud, I go out occasionally when I am with good friends but no more than that. And yes, I'm Irish, although I don't sound like it. Now then, here's where we hit a snag.

Yesterday, I was coming home from college when I saw a friend of mine who was with their foreign cousin, can't remember where from, sorry. But like the nice person I was, I said hello to them both and we got talking. Now, the weekend before I had gone to a friends 18th birthday party, and that was the first time I had stayed up in a long while, til about 2am I think, which isn't bad considering. But apparently she had seen me there and had apparently told her cousin about it, so what did he do?

He started making fun of the fact that because I was Irish I was obviously out drinking all night and how it's so typical of us Irish to go overboard.  He actually said much worse but I decided to leave that out, to be nice and all. Naturally, I took it as a joke and just went along with it nicely enough but then he came out with some SHIT that I should be ashamed of my country for people acting this way and I shouldn't call myself Irish! WTF?! Just WTF people?!

Seriously! I said nothing disrespectful to him, WHATSOEVER and he just goes and disses my country, let alone us Irish people in general!! Come on! Fine, I admit, we may drink a lot and swear and cause trouble but their is no need to stereotype EVERYONE FOR THAT! We all have our problems and we all do our best to sort them out bit just because ONE PERSON goes out ONCE doesn't mean you should stereotype the whole FECKIN COUNTRY for it!! Obviously, I told him what for and stormed off (and may have decked him accidentally with my art folder) but seriously come on guys!!

We aren't all that bad!! Aren't we?
