I watched the girl laughing and swinging her bag for a while and the lovely smell it left in the air. She stopped to look in the shop windows behind me and I felt invisible.  Again. And, like always, I did nothing about it. Then she ran off to her friend giggling and chatting about something. I don't know what happened but I followed them.

"Gingerbread gingerbread run away home, you're gonna be eaten and son you're all gone" they all chanted. I want to say it's actually about a ladybird but I know that won't help. Then it happened. "You're so dumb you know" smirked Michael. "Right back atcha" I murmured.  "What was that?  Are you just being weird as usual?!" And I replied, louder this time
"Takes one to know one"

The rest is a blur. But I gained a friend from this experience. Khalia was always by my side. So where is she now?

The house was nothing special but it was the door that caught my eye. Decoupage all over it,  pictures of people, of places, of things, of all three of the above mentioned. Bright colours and pastel colours arranged top make a beautiful pattern. I spotted some writing in a corner. It looked like song lyrics. It was about individuality and not judging people straight away. Underneath were pictures of the brown haired girl. Blonde took out the keys out of her handbag and turned to Brown asking if she wanted to come in. Brown laughed and told blonde that she'd better not have changed anything. They went inside and I realised; I was stalking them, finding out their secrets and not telling them mine because I'm not a little kid anymore. I left. But then blonde saw me through the window probably thinking I just lived nearby.

Turns out I did.

A/N so what do you all think? Sam obviously had some kind of connection to July's house and July and Gillian  clearly know the other will be important in their lives somehow. Also Gillian accidently became a stalker and managed to miss who her neighbours were when they moved in.  (No they didn't go to her school even though they are the right age, they moved to this part of town after leaving secondary school. I'll add a chapter about English and American schools at the end)
