Healthy Eating

While smaller portions are good, sometimes it has more to do with WHAT you eat rather than how much of it. If you are used to pumping your body full of junk food, then you'll find you easily become low on energy and your immune system isn't as efficient. The best way to eat healthy is by making small, everyday choices to increase your intake of protein, healthy fats, and veggies instead of sugar, carbs and chemicals. An egg in the morning instead of a donut? Yes please! Yogurt and fruit instead of chips for your afternoon snack? Delicious! And lastly, carbonated water instead of pop? It's an easy choice! I know it's not always easy, especially since a healthy lifestyle isn't as cheap and efficient as fast food or microwave dinners. Start small, be more conscious of what you are consuming, and you will end up transitioning your entire meal plan! Like me, you might even learn to LOVE eating healthy because of how it makes you feel. Believe me, ladies and gentlemen, you WILL notice a difference.
Another thing to consider is the intervals between meals or snacks. You don't want to eat unless you are hungry. Let your body do what your body does best. It's a natural diet clock. No matter what, don't skip breakfast, even though you may not be a breakfast person. Sometimes you wake up and just don't feel hungry yet, because your metabolism hasn't gotten itself going yet. Just a small bite of something packed with protein can give your metabolism the morning boost it needs to be able to digest food and burn fat the remainder of the day. Not to mention that a small breakfast provides your body with essential energy for the afternoon hours. An important thing to remember is not to eat anything two hours before you go to bed. It resets your body and you won't be able to sleep as soundly or fall asleep as quickly.
So if this is simple enough, why don't more people eat healthy everyday? Why are chips, pizza, desserts, pop and fast food so popular? Well, the answer is this: most peso people assume that eating healthier isn't as yummy, filling, or efficient. Myth, myth, and myth! I've experimented, and I can guarantee that once you change your mindset about food, you will begin to look forward to all the recipes can try, and how delicious they will taste!
In this book I will be sharing plenty of easy and fun recipes that I created myself , plus some that I stole and implemented into my diet. You'll soon discover food in a whole new way! 😀
