A Wild Day
You stood outside Sans room, mentally preparing your for what was about to happen next. With one more deep breath, you opened the door and walked in. "Good morning, Sans." He perked as per usual, tail swaying as it hung off the side of his bed. "morning! what's today's agenda?" Oh stars, here goes nothing. "There is only one task today, but I don't think your going to like it very much. Please understand that this for the best, even if you don't think so." He fidgeted, frowning. "what is it? you're making me kinda uneasy, doc." He was regarding you with uncertainty. Almost asking for you not to go through with whatever this was, but you had to. You'd held your tongue for long enough. "Sans, Papyrus never made it out of the lab." He tensed and gritted his teeth. "i don't catch your meaning... doctor." There was a slight growl in his tone, warning you to tread lightly. You were confident that he wouldn't harm you though. You couldn't let this continue. "Your brother died, Sans. Papyrus isn't here and never was." Sans shot up, rigid. Feral. A low growl rumbled from his 'throat'.

"you're lying!" He was angry, beyond angry. He hadn't wanted to hear it. Deep down, he knew it, but didn't make it any easier. "You and I both know that I'm telling the truth." You reasoned. "but the cake! the games!" She sighed lightly. "I was trying to stabilize you before we got too... this." He paced the length of the bed like an animal trapped in a cage. "no, not true! you've seen him!" Sans snarled. "I've never seen him. Nor has anyone else here. You're denying it, that's pretty good." The first stage. He'd been there for so long, it was time for him to move on. He growled again and lashed out, spawning in bone attacks and even a blaster. You were still sure that he wasn’t going harm you and you were right. Everything around you was destroyed as Sans freaked out, but you came out unscathed. He physically tore through his pillows with his claws and teeth, then ripped through the sheets. Tore into the mattress before deciding to flip the entire bed. It was a very good thing that you'd locked the door and took all the spares to this room.

"I know it hurts. I wish I could have met him, but this is the truth and you know it as well as I do." You eased after Sans backed himself into a corner and curled himself up as a means of hiding. "i-i can't go on... i-i can't go on without h-him. please. i want him back..! I need him back!" Sans whimpered tiredly. "You know that's not how it works." You approached Sans, crouching down in front of him. "I'll help you through this, Sans. Let me help you through this." He didn't reply, choosing to curl up tighter. He would need time, you supposed to get used to this fact. To really let it sink in. "I'm here when you need me, Sans." You told him and went to touch his skull. He flinched away. It kinda hurt.. but you let him be for the time being as you started to fix the place up again. Everything would need to be replaced. You hoped Sans wouldn't be mad at you forever. You were going to have to be patient.
