I walked up the stairs to Delilah's room. I love her, but jeez she likes pink. I put down my stuff and flopped on her bed face-first. It smelled like perfume and laundry detergent.

With my face in her bed, I groaned.

Why me?

Why do I have to scale down my house?

Why do I have to deal with my sister's lies?

Why do I have to act fake to get payback?

"You okay?" I heard Ty from the doorway

And why do I have to share a house with the hottest guy in the galaxy?

I turned over on the bed and looked at the ceiling fan.

"Just Peachy" I replied

He came over and looked down at me.

"you sure" He said "You look more lemony"

"Is that even a thing?" I asked

"It's a thing now"

I sat up and looked a Delilah's room. Then I laid back down and waved my arms in the air.

"What are you doing?" He asked

"Wondering why I scaled the wall of my house and drove 40 damn miles to get here"

"You scaled your house?"

"Only to find you here"

" Hey" he said " that is a freaking privilege"

He looked down on my again and grinned.

That always made me laugh because he has a gap in his teeth.

"I hate you" I said

Then he just stuck out his tounge.

"what are you guys doing?" I heard a higher voice from the doorway

I looked over and saw Delilah standing there.

"Just having a friendly conversation" Ty said

Delilah raised her brows "It looks a little more than friendly to me"

That's when I looked at myself and saw that :

1. Laying on Delilah's bed

2. Ty was looking down on me from the bedside

3. He was holding down one of my wrists

I could see how that would look bad.

Ty  stood up straight and put his hands behind his back "It's friendly"

Delilah pointed to the hallway behind her.  Ty nodded in response and walked out.

Delilah looked at me

"what the hell was that?" She asked

" We talked" I said "About lemons"

Delilah looked at me skeptically "Lemons?"

"And peaches"

"okay then" she sighed "why are you here?"

"Jamie, who else?"

"good point. How long are you going to be here"

"Few days, max''

"good" Delilah walked out "You drink all the milk anyway"
