Hi guys and welcome to my guide on how to be an egirl. These steps are simple, easy and cheap in MY budget.

Now I don't know about you but everyone and their granddaughter wants to be an egirl or eboy. It could just be where I'm from but everyone is obsessed with being edgy, having edgy clothes, listening to edgy music as well. I'd mostly "blame" the app TikTok for causing this to happen because that's basically where this epidemic started. Know your origins.

Anyway this story is compresssd into different sections for you to achieve this aesthetic. First up and most important would be the look. Clothing, hair, makeup and accessories. Some of you will know the classic look you need but if you don't, just look at the bullet point I've listed down below for you guys:

❁Chains. Oh my days I can not stress this one enough. Chains immediately make you look edgy af. So keep that in mind.

❁Dark clothing. This one is quite vague but what I mean by this is mostly black, dark gray etc.

❁That chain necklace with the padlock. Yes everyone has them lol. My friend says you should try your best to customise your chains as well.

❁Rainbows. Rainbow tops, rainbow jacket, rainbow sweatshirts. Rainbow, rainbow, rainbow. This is a tricky one still because some people often get confused with this one. It still counts as part of the egirl aesthetic however.

❁Hair pins and hair clips. This one... this one is a pretty important accessory. Usually they have butterflies as their hair pins.

❁Beanies. This one isn't that important and you can still pull off the look without one BUT it is pretty nice if you do have one.

❁Undershirts. More specifically striped black and white undershirts. This is the most important one. Forget the chain. You can still look like an egirl without the chain but the undershirt? If you don't have the undershirt your look is not complete.

❁Oversized shirts. What I mean is that it doesn't go pass the knees but they aren't skin tight tops. You need to be able to tuck them in your trousers.

❁Skirts. Black or checkered skirts would be the most acceptable.

❁Shoes. Doc Martens or other boots would do.

❁Dyed hair. Half and half is the best to go with. If not just dye the unnatural clothes like pink or blue. This isn't a vital part but research has shown that when you see someone with dyed hair subconsciously you think that they're cool (don't fact check that).

❁Blush. Yes blush.

❁Face art. The most common would be the clouds one.

❁BLACK HEARTS ON YOUR UPPER CHEEK. This is so fucking common at this point. You should know this by now Hannah but it's often over looked.

❁Winged eye-linear.

❁Bangs. Optional.

Right so this is the part about looks. The most important part.
