Chapter 1
The hallway were filled with Students. The Ages ranged from 12-16. They were filed in a line, against the wall. The flooring was a Snowy White Marble Floor. Of course this School would be Fancy like. It's a Private School.
The walls were a Boring Snowy White, with nothing else on it. Too bad the hall to the Office is not Decorated yet. Of course it wouldn't be decorated since it's the beginning of the year.
Oh. I haven't introduced myself. Oh well, I'll tell you anyway. I'm Xylie Chan. Literally, my last name is chan. I'm a 13 year old girl. I'm a Brunette, if you were wondering. I have black-brown eyes, and my skin is kinda pale. Right now, I'm wearing a Gray T-Shirt that says, 'Tacocat spelled backwards is Tacocat.' with a tacocat on the top of the shirt, with dark blue jeans, and Black and white vans.
By the way, I have no idea how my parents were able to pay for the humongous price to attend the school, but they did it. I'm a technology expert, you see. My parents saw my talent, and thought that I should learn a bit more about Technology, and registered me.
So, heh guess I'm here now.. Oh, where am I? I'm right in the line, casually staring at the wall with a glassy-eyed stare..... Eheh.. (Third Person P.O.V. coming up!) Xylie snapped out of her trance, and looked away from the wall. She looked to see if the line moved up, and it did. There was some students were complaining behind her. "O-oh! Haha.." She laughed nervously, and moved up, her cheeks burned with embarrassment, her gaze quickly rested on her feet, finding them quite interesting.
'Great! Wow good first impression there Xylie. And you haven't even registered yet..' She thought resentfully. The line moved up, and she followed along too. She looked up from her feet, seeing that she was at the doorway to the office. 'That fast?' She thought in bewilderment. She suddenly got bored, and eavesdropped on the kids' conversation that were behind her.
"Didn't you hear? This school has a weird way of dealing with huge Troublemakers." 'Hmm, interesting.. I don't think they can teach us a lesson that easily though.. But a weird way? I thought this place gave detentions too?.. I have to listen.' Xylie thought, and she concentrated on the conversation. "What do you mean, 'A weird way?'." A boy asked. The girl who was talking turned to him. She was blond, her eyes were sea blue. Her skin was tan, and Freckles spotted over the archway of her nose. Her hair was down to her waist, straight and a bit wavy like any other blondie's hair would be.
She wore light blue shorts that went to the knees, and a White T-Shirt. The boy had Black, brown and Blond hair. He had Cerulean eyes, and his Skin was a bit pale. He wore black basketball shorts, and a gray nike shirt. "I mean, that troublemakers here are not put in Detention. Instead, their names are written down, and put on the, Player's board, which is over here. But it's not showing on the wall right now, since there's no troublemaker's name written down yet. Then, at the end of the school year, the students who were written on there, were forced over to the PE Hallway, right next to the Gym," She paused, taking a breath. "Down the hallway, there is a door that says, Game Simulation room. The Students are forced down into that hallway, right next to the door, and wait until the announcements are on. When the announcements are on, they call out that year's next players, and throw those who had be called, into the room, and let the rest of the kids out. Usually they pick out 20 names." She finished. "Huh." The boy said, then they started talking about something else. 'Could those rumors be true?..' Xylie thought curiously, when her name was called from the office.
She walked through the doorway. The flooring changed to a dark blue carpet, and the room was small. The walls were white, like the rest of the school. There was a large desk in the middle of the room, a Lamp, and stacks of paperwork were on there. A Black leather chair was behind the Desk, with a Man in it. On the right of the room, there's a door, it said, 'controls for game room.' A blue chair was in front of the desk, and Xylie came over, and sat on the chair warily.
" Hello miss Chan." The Man said. He had hazel eyes, and his hair was light brown, and straight. His skin was pale white. He looked like... He was 18. "Oh, please call me Xylie." Xylie said, glancing up from her lap, her eyes rested on him. "Alright, Xylie. Welcome to Simulation migh School!" He grinned. "Migh?" Xylie said, confused. "Migh is pretty much Middle school and High school combined." He explained.
"I'm Mr. Hazel," 'Hah, I get it, 'cause your eyes are hazel.' Thought Xylie. "The principal of this place!" He said, a bigger grin appeared on his face. Xylie noticed that it was a fake grin. She could tell by how his grin doesn't go all the way to his ears. 'What is with this dude?' Xylie thought suspiciously.
"Anyway, here's your schedule." Mr. Hazel said, handing Xylie a paper with writing in ink on it. "Thanks." Xylie said, folding it up and put it in her right pocket. "You may go now." He said, and Xylie got up from her chair, and hurried out of the room.
She heard a 'ding!' from her pocket, and, her right hand reached into her right pocket, and got out her cellphone. Her screen was on, and it showed a text from her mom. She swiped on the message, put in her passcode to get in the phone, and got on the messages app.
Mom: Hey 'hun! How'd did the Registration go?
Xylie: Fine, I guess..
(Mom is typing...)
Mom: Cool! Are you getting to your class right now?
Xylie: Wait, School is on during Registration day?????
Mom: Yup.
Xylie: Well, Yeah then.
Mom: Alright, see ya later!
Xylie turned off her phone and sighed with frustration, as she put her phone back in her right pocket of her jeans. She went to the hallway which is a bit smaller than the huge office Hallway, where the entrance to the school was, and went straight into a huge intersection, that went to other hallways. In front of her, was the Library. The hallway in the right seemed to lead to classrooms.
The hallway right next to the wide hallway also lead to classrooms. 'Can't hurt to look, right?' Xylie thought, and turned right, going into the hallway that's closest to her.
