Dani's POV:
December 21st 2017
5:30am
I step into the empty practice room waiting for the rest of the girls.
yes I got the spot to be a trainee and so did my other 6 members.
But I didn't realize the ungodly hour I would have to wake up at.
no wonder idols are so tired all the time.
I reach into my bag and take a quick sip of Gatorade when HyunJae our leader steps in with her hair perfectly tied up in a secure bun & in regular workout clothes.
"Good morning Dani!" She says and starts doing a yoga pose.
"Good morning Unnie! May I ask why are you doing that?" I ask her
"It helps me stretch my muscles before I dance" she replies as she stays completely still in a weird very uncomfortable pose.
It looks like a move only a acrobatic in a circus could pull off yet she has done it in 10 seconds.
Like nothing she looks at me as I stretch.
"Where's the others?" I ask her
"MinJee will be running late but she said don't wait up for her since she won't be here until 12pm" she replies back to me.
Wowza 7 hours without her.
"Did she give a reason?" I ask her
"Family stuff" she said sternly which meant I was probably disturbing her too much.
So I stopped and continued focusing on getting ready for practice.
-7:30am-
Practice officially starts and Ami,Mel,Gia,Haeun are all here.
I miss MinJee but I'll take in consideration that she's with her family and that's all that matters to me.
I hope all is well with them though...
-meanwhile-
MinJee's POV:
I sit down at the dining table with my parents.
"What do you mean that you guys are getting a divorce aren't you guys too old for this?" I say confused at the reason why my parents who had been married for over 28 years would want to divorce now.
"We came to a agreement that we are not the same people we were 28 years ago and our love just fell apart as you kids grew up." My mom said trying to explain the situation to me
"We planned to divorce for a long time now but in reality we had been separated for 10 years." My dad said right after her.
"10 whole years?! I don't understand how you could hide something like this from me so long!" I say and I go to walk over to the front door when my mom grabs my wrist.
"MinJee! Your not leaving this house. Not yet until you understand that with it without your consent this is happening." My mom says
"What about MiNa? She's just a kid!" I say talking about my 12 year old sister.
"She'll live in between your dad & I but mostly she will live with your dad." She said and tears came to my eyes.
"Then I'm moving out to live in Incheon!" I say running to my room.
"MINJEE! You're stuck with me until the day I die." She says
"I would rather live in Incheon than stay in Busan with you!" I say and slam the door shut.
I slide down the door with tears running down my face and I start packing my bags.
I pull out my phone & text the girls.

Minnie🧚🏽‍♀️: guys can you come pick me up :(
Haeun unnie💜: what's the matter princess?
Minnie🧚🏽‍♀️: just bring me to practice I'll explain later.
Haeun unnie💜: alright I'll go get you 🥺💞
I turn off my phone and after I finished stuffing the last of what I needed in clothes in a huge gym bag.
I throw it over my shoulder & walk out of my room to find my parents with MiNa sitting down doing her homework.
They are acting like nothing just happened a few minutes ago..
I manage to sneak out without being seen from my mom eyes or my dad.
But MiNa locked eyes with me and I guess she saw the pleading in them because she put her head down and continued with her homework.
I felt bad for leaving her behind...
but I needed time away from the drama at home...I needed my girls.
-meanwhile-
Mel's POV:
"Omg guys did you see Jackson? He's so hot!" I exclaim loudly since I saw a poster of Got7 on the elevator ride up to the practice room.
"No no! Mark is even more hotter!" Ami says clutching her chest and closing her eyes smiling with her cheeks red as a tomato.
"I disagree BamBam is the hottest of them all!" Gia says fanning herself with her hands.
"Your only saying that because he's Thai." I reply
"And you only like Jackson because he's Chinese!" She snaps back
"COME AT ME!" I say and we start to wrestle around on the floor when Dani disturbs us.
"Guys! CONDUCT YOURSELVES! Got7 is coming to our room right now!" She says fixing herself & I quickly try to fix myself up..
-a few minutes later-
Dani's POV:
"annyeong?" JB says slowly walking in
"annyeonghaseyo!" I say bowing & smiling.
"Who's the leader of your group?" He asks me smiling and shaking my hand.
"That would be me!" HyunJae says raising her hand high up in the air.
She walks over & stands in front to introduce us.
"Girls let's do our introduction like we practiced." She says and gives us a signal.
We nod in unison.
"Hana,Deul,Set..do,re,mi! we are One Melody!" We all say at the same time.
JB smiles and watches us.
"You must be the maknae?" Yugyeom says to me shaking my hand.
"Correct. How did you know?" I ask him.
"I'm a maknae I can basically tell if you're one or if you're not by just one look. Plus you act like one to be honest" He says smirking.
"So I'm innocent looking?" I ask him.
"she's looks very innocent in the face" I hear from behind him and I look and see it's Jackson smirking at me.
Lord if looks could kill his would murder me.
He walks up to me & moves Yugyeom out of the way leaving him to talk with the others.
"So you're new around here so I might as well get to know you alright?" He says
I nod staying silent.
"No need to play innocent around me." He says and I raise a eyebrow.
"I doubt you're innocent at all anyway." He says grabbing my hand.
Says the man holding my hand the minute he meets me.
Oof the vibe he's giving off is making me blush and flustered.
"Jackson!! Come here I wanna take a photo!" I hear from behind us and it's Mel flagging him down.
"Hold on a moment don't move a muscle." He says and walks over to her.
I watch as she is all over him.
Touching him up & throwing herself at him.
I couldn't help but feel jealous even though he wasn't mine...I wanted to talk more with him.
But the minute Mel looked at me she had a devious look in her eye.
"Jackson mind if I steal you away for a moment?" She says after snapping a photo of them two.
"Umm..I was kinda chatting with-"
"She can wait. After all she's the maknae she can chat with Yugyeom while we are away." She says and I rush over to them two.
"Hi. Here's my number so we can chat more in private." I say being bold enough to give out my number to him.
I always keep my number written down on a piece of paper and always with me in either my pocket or my purse.
I reach into my pocket and give him the paper.
"Very well. I'll talk to you later..Dani is it?" He asks me
"Yes..I'll talk to you later too." I say winking and he kisses my hand.
Mel envious grabs him and drags him out of the room.
I smirk & HyunJae looks over at me.
"Already flirting? That was fast!" She says giggling.
"Like you & JB didn't hit it off I saw you two!" I say and she blushes.
"Don't say anything but she gave me his number!" She said & I smile.
"I'm happy for you unnie you deserve it!" I say and HyunJae gets called over by JB who I guess wanted to say bye to her before departing to their studio.
Mel rushes over to me angry & grabs me by the shoulder.
"You man stealer! You knew I liked Jackson yet you threw yourself on him & you knew he wouldn't deny your cuteness!" She says and starts hitting me.
I punch her out of reflex in the nose which causes her to retaliate by lunging back at me.
She throws me down to the floor & tries to hold me down.
"YAH! ENOUGH OF THIS!" HyunJae says running over to us while the others separate us both from each other.
-a while later-
I felt like a kid at detention.
Sitting next to Mel silent as a mouse waiting for HyunJae to come into the room.
We were back at the house & were placed in this room which is Mel's room.
I tap my feet impatiently as I watch the time tick by & all you can hear from both of us is quiet sighs that slip out of our mouths.
I didn't cross any line here but of course Mel had to make it look like that.
She can be so over dramatic sometimes.
My head turns to the direction of the door and see HyunJae walk in and she looks upset.
"Unnie-"
"No talking until I'm done" she says shutting me down.
I pout & Mel looks at her.
"I can't believe you two! You're supposed to be like sisters to each other! I don't care what is going on. You two are supposed to get along & not fight! Especially to the point when it becomes physical. What would've happened if you injured her Melina?! A month before our debut this has to happen! And Dani i don't care you can't act like this. We had company over not so long ago. What if they would've stood longer & got to see you guys fighting. We would be done for! You know how many groups disbanded before their debut! We are not going to be one that does that girls!" She says basically trying to drill it in both me & Mel's heads that we can't mess up this opportunity of a lifetime over some petty fight.
"I'm sorry unnie it won't happen again" Mel says speaking up since HyunJae stopped talking and must've been waiting for a response.
"Me too unnie.." I say even though the explicit words I describe Mel in is running through my head as I tell this to HyunJae.
"You're forgiven Dani since you didn't start the fight but Mel...you're older than her do better & act like the older one here please. You two are dismissed." She says and walks out.
As I'm walking out of the room Mel glares at me and I ignore looking at her since it'll only fuel whatever fire she has inside of her.
This is only us training...we debut in a month like unnie said how are we going to be okay?..
