"Lili, did you hear it already, Niall will be there later too" Millie smiled at me.
In spite of everything, Niall was a big brother to her, as far as I could remember. "Yes," I said, played enthusiastically, and sat down on a bench with her.
A small celebration, yes, you don't think of a millionaires and 30 strangers. What the heck, with 30 people I could just avoid him.
"Oh back there is Luna, I'll go to her," said Millie and went to Margarete's white cat.
I slowly had to go to the bathroom, so I got up and went looking around the house. When I actually found it, I checked my hair, which was still nicely in place, and took my lipstick out of my purse.
I gently traced my lips again and went to the toilet.
When I was done, I washed my hands and straightened myself again briefly.
Freshly made, I went out of the bathroom and walked around the corner.
"I'm so glad to have you here again, my child," I heard Margarete. That could only apply to one person.
I stopped immediately and waited for her voice to decrease.
When it was almost impossible to hear, I walked around another corner and straight into someone.
"Oh I'm sorry, I hope you haven't done anything" I said quickly and looked on the floor. "No, everything is fine with you too" he asked. I recognized his voice immediately.
"Niall" I breathed in shock and turned around quickly."Lili" he called after me and I heard his footsteps. I didn't know where I was in this big house, but I just kept walking until I stopped at a corner, breathing heavily.
He wouldn't find me here.
"What are you doing here" he suddenly startled me.
"Nothing, I was invited," I snapped at him. "I already know that, but you couldn't have left either." He said annoyed.
"I'm sorry your grandma asked for me," I pissed at him.
"I can't know that" he apologized. Well, that wasn't an excuse.
"Nice dress" he smiled. "Suits you" he added. "Thank you" I said softly. Was that a compliment?
"Lili, please listen to me," he almost pleaded and lifted my chin. "I'm sorry, I should have said that much earlier, but I just didn't check how shit I acted until a few ago Days, "he continued. The water rose in my eyes, apparently he saw it and wiped away a tear.
"You don't know how much you hurt me, do you?" I asked him quietly, I wasn't sure if he had heard it.
"I was just mad because you went out with him and asked you if you had anything," he replied, confused.
"He tried to rape me Niall" I said louder.
I knew there was no one here but the two of us because Margarete was giving a speech."He's got something," said the bleached one to me, shocked and angry.
Without saying anything, he took me in his arms. I could no longer hold back my tears and let them run happily.
He pressed me closer and closer and I enjoyed the feeling. It gave me a feeling of security, it already had it back then.
I buried my face in the crook of his neck and tried to calm down.
Since he made no move to break away from me, I just stood there and enjoyed the hug. I forgot everything he'd done, he couldn't know.
Should I just forgive him?
"I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you," he whispered in my ear, which made me smile slightly.
"I missed you" I honestly admitted, "Me too, Lils" he replied and squeezed me more and more together.
I don't know what was wrong with me, but I just couldn't control what I was saying.
"Niall, please never leave me alone again" I sobbed softly.
"Never again," he breathed into my ear.
I felt a few tears escape when I felt drops on my back.
We stood there for a while, everything went quiet. Until a "click" left us apart.
