Although army wives and Survivor contestants may disagree, keeping your distance from a person is often a great method to either slowly cut ties with them or as a friendly reminder that they are just not as important as you.

In the world of bitchcraft, that is definitely the case. Distance is a very important tool that we utilize in both relationships and friendships.

The main reason why a bitch needs to often apply distance to any relationship is because you don't want anybody getting either too close or too comfortable.

Besides, it's a well known fact that people want what they can't have. If you offer your friendship to someone with 100% dedication and loyalty to them, they will only lose interest in you and the tables will turn. It's best to give them a mere sample of what it's like to be in your social circle but then quickly take it away. They'll be dying to get another flavor.

If one of your bitches calls you, regardless of whether or not it's an emergency, don't answer. Make the bitch call a minimum of three times before you finally pick up, if you decide to pick up at all really, with an annoyed "What do you want?"

Same goes for texting. Never text a bitch first, unless your reason behind it is for instigating or stirring up gossip. Let them come to you. If it's something clearly not of interest to you, don't even bother responding.
