Writer's Block/How to Cure It

Do you feel like words are the furthest thing from your mind? Do you often feel like you don't know where to start in a new story? Or maybe you lost your excitement in finishing a story you are working on. No matter what it is, it seems to not go away. You feel unispired, yet you want to keep writing.

We all get that way sometimes. It's called writer's block and is very annoying to writers. I've been there before. If you have encountered this unlikable experience, then I've got the tips to get you back in the zone! It has many helpful suggestions for what you should do to wipe-out this annoying feeling and get you back to writing!

- Read some stories! Sometimes, reading someone else's works of writing can inspire you.

- Inspiration is literally EVERYWHERE! You can take anything, whether it's something happening in your life or another story. If you like what happened in another book, like a small idea from someone else's writing, you can take that idea and convert it - bend and twist it and make it your own. (Remember: This is inspiration - not plagiarism.)

- Let yourself write really bad! Sometimes, if you do, the real writer in you will break out. Writing badly can kick you back to writing better.

- Write about something else. Sometimes, starting a new story idea that you had for a while might be what's holding you back. Feeling inspired by another story idea can bring out the writer in you. (I've done this before! Trust me, it really works!)
