Ash was completely freaked out by now. They were free falling through an unknown tunnel, and after a few seconds of free falling, Ash fell hard on a cold steel floor. He rubbed his bottom, and saw to his left to see Gary gracefully rolling on the ground and getting up.

"Ashy boy, your survival skills have become rusty. Now I think I should not have made you leave the secret service after all", Gary mock sighed.

"Shut up Gary, after all, I did not set my pants on fire while rescuing a girl from the burning Pokemon League headquarters two years ago" I chuckled while Gary glared at me.

"Fine, but where is your 'baddest creation' as you called it" Ash looked around in darkness "Didn't you install lights he...WOAH!"

The sharp LED lights blinded him, and when he adjusted to his surroundings, he was frightened literally out of his wits by the enormous shadow of the mammoth machine covered in green veil.

"Well, I see you got scared Ashy baby, but don't worry, this thing doesn't bite, it stingsssssssssss" Gary was gazing longingly at the veil.

"So, you brought me so far, threw me down a tunnel, just to show me a veil. Great praise be to the great inventor Gary Oak." Ash clapped, sarcasm oozing out of his every word

"Oh Ash, trust me, you have not seen anything." Gary went to one of his control boards, and pressed down a button.

The veil dropped, and behind it was something which made Ash's stomach twist and turn, and made Ash drool. Even Pikachu was shellshocked "Piiiiiiiiiikaaaaaaaaaaaaa", it could not help but stare.

It was a sleek silver coloured jet. It had broad wings, a smoothly fitted cockpit behind its nose, twin boosters, and exhausts under each wing, but what made Ash's stomach churn was that the craft was fitted in with the best weapons of the modern military warfare era. It had everything from missile radars to satellite blockers to bombing statons. Its seemingly harmless nose, when examined closely, was fitted with a 50 mm machine gun, one shot was enough to bring the choppers down. It was equipped with air to air, air to land, air to water, and a unique underwater missile, to hit submarines up to 500m underwater. Its tip was a laser gun. It would be enough to cut through the enemy jets. To finish off, Ash knew from the sleek design that the aircraft was made to break the sound barrier. The aircraft was an all-in-one fighter, one which armies would kill to have.

"Meet the Stinger, the one which stings where it pains a lot" Gary introduced

" Gary?", Ash asked

"How is it? How do you like it? Isn't it best? I would rather...."

"GARY!" Ash yelled

"What Ashy boy?" asked Gary, annoyed.

"Why did you make it?" Ash demanded

"What do you mean?" Now Gary was acting like a doofus.

"DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH DESTRUCTION THIS CAN CAUSE!" Ash yelled

Gary was blankly staring.

"THIS THING HAS THE POWER TO KILL MILLIONS AT A SHOT! THIS WILL CAUSE DOOMSDAY! THIS THING WILL CAUSE CHAOS! IF IT GOES INTO WRONG HANDS........"

"SHUT UP" Gary yelled

"HUH" Ash glared at him

"Do you think I will let this thing into wrong hands?" Gary's voice was dangerously low

"Do you think I can be bought for money? Do you think I will yield to threats? I will not surrender even if it means my death do you know that? This lab here, where you are standing, is my base. Only professor Oak knows of this place." Gary sighed

"Even if an intruder gets in, if the body scan does not match, the ceiling above us" Gary pointed toward the dome above us "is fitted with explosives, well you know what will happen"

Ash gulped back. Gary was not messing around

Night had fallen by the time they arrived back at Pallet town. Gary drove straight towards Ketchum residence "your mom invited me and Gramps to dinner" Gary explained. Ash's mind was whirling, and also that Gary had made him swear on his mom's life not to tell anyone of Stinger.

"So boys, you finally returned back home. Professor Oak here told me you had gone on a sightseeing tour. How was it?" asked Delia

"It was good mom" Ash replied a little hesitantly "Also, don't make dinner for us, we already stopped by and ate."

"Oh ok" Ash's mom replied, then suddenly her face became grave "Come to the living room, we need to talk." With this she went back to the living room.

A little while later, in the Ketchum residence, all hell broke loose

"SCHOOL!" both Ash and Gary shouted.

"Yes dears, I and Oak have decided that it is time since you have completed middle school, it is time for you to complete your higher education while you still can. So that when you grow up there will be no regrets"

Delia had always spoken sense.

That night, both boys were absorbed in a brochure

"Which one do you think is for you Ash?" Gary asked, still browsing through the pages.

"I think I will go for some battle school. Professor Oak said that since I am Alola's Champion, I can participate in the Pokemon World Championship."

"Still think low, I see" Gary smirked

"So where do you plan to take your big head to?" Ash fired back

Gary showed him a page. Ash's eyes widened " The Kalos Royal Academy!"

"You are mad Gary" you will never make it past their entrance test" Ash chuckled.

"Oh yeah" now Gary was infuriated "lets give the entrance test. The one who scores least owes the other 100 pokes"

Now even Ash was aroused. "Deal" He hel out his hand

"Deal". Both boys solemnly shook hands at the solemn hour of the night.
