Scott's Perspective-

Scott woke up by an owl flying in his room.

It's too early for this. Scott thought as he picked up the letter.

'Dear Scott,

I found the perfect crystal. It would be best to encase him today, but I don't know how to summon him. If you do, please let me know.

-Gem.'

I never thought of that. How would we summon him?

Scott got up and wrote Gem back about meeting later.

He got dressed, ate some breakfast that Lumi had made for him, and set off towards the corruption crystals.

They would probably release lava soon after Xornoth was crystallized.

"Hey, Scott!"

Scott heard someone shout his name and turned around.

Jimmy was waving at Scott.

Scott blushed and headed over to Jimmy.

"Hi, Jimmy! What's up?" Scott asked him.

Jimmy hugged Scott, "I just needed to get away."

"From what?" Scott asked, hugging back.

"My dad," Jimmy sighed, "He's acting like shit and is saying that I should find a wife soon."

"Did you tell him...?"

"No. He would kick me out if I said anything."

"What if I go with you? He probably won't be too mad with a guest over."

"But if I tell him that it's you, I'm dating..."

"What if I just wait there. Like in the village."

Jimmy stopped hugging Scott, "Yeah, okay."

Scott noticed that Jimmy was looking nervous and kissed him.

"Let me finish up with these crystals and we can go."

"What are you doing?" Jimmy asked, changing the subject.

"I'm trying to convert them to be good. Like un-lava."

"Do you need help?"

"I think I got it. I discovered a book yesterday talking about spells and stuff. And one of them said that you could brew a potion that can change evil."

Jimmy nodded.

"It said that you could end evil with peace and friendship, so I think I just have to combine some things from my allies."

Jimmy nodded once more and followed Scott.

"Woah." Jimmy said, watching Scott pick up five potions.

"Think this'll work?" Jimmy asked.

"I'm not sure, but I hope so." Scott said, and he flew off, splashing a potion on each crystal.

When he finished, he landed and watched the crystals.

But after ten minutes,

"Nothing." Scott mumbled sadly.

"Hey, I'm sure it'll work." Jimmy said, grabbing Scott's hand.

"Yeah... come on, let's go talk with your dad."

"No, we don't have too."

"Jimmy, please... I want to help you."

Jimmy and Scott were silent, staring into each other's eyes.

A nice light brown eyes against a pale blue.

Jimmy leaned in to kiss Scott when,

"SCOTT!"

Scott and Jimmy let go of each other's hands and broke eye contact.

Jimmy blushing from embarrassment.

Gem ran up to them, looking panicked.

"Katherine called me to an emergency meeting; you need to come too." Gem said, panting.

Scott nodded and started to follow Gem.

"Wait," Jimmy said, "Am I invited too?"

Gem looked from Scott to Jimmy, then sighed.

"I'm sorry Jim. I don't mean to exclude you, but Katherine only said to get Scott. I'm sure she would probably want you too, but she didn't say."

Jimmy looked a bit sad to leave Scott but nodded.

"Okay, let's go." Gem said, grabbing Scott's hand.

Scott turned around but was stopped by Jimmy grabbing his other hand.

"Jimmy-"

Jimmy gave Scott a quick peck on the lips.

Scott blushed, "I'll be back soon. I promise."

Jimmy blushed too, "I love you." He whispered.

"I love you too."

"Scott, urgent meeting. Come on." Gem said, looking even more panicked, "I'm sorry to sound rude, it's just that Katherine sounded really worried when she told me."

Jimmy let go of Scott's hand, smiling and Scott and Gem flew off towards House Blossom.

"What's wrong?" Scott asked.

"Katherine said that she found something out with Xornoth." Gem said.

"Did he attack her?"

"No, but he attacked Pearl. According to her, she punched him and fought him, showing no fear."

"Pearl fought him?!"

"Yeah, she was very strong and brave. But she decided to tell someone and since Katherine is her closest ally, she told Katherine."

Gem and Scott landed.

"Scott! Gem!" Katherine, Joey, and Pearl came running over to them.

"Come on, let's go!" Katherine said.

"Where are we going?" Scott asked.

"Shelby got captured by Xornoth. Joey's been possessed, and double crossed by Xornoth." Katherine said, doing a quick recap.

"So, he just decided to tell us Xornoth's plans?" Scott asked, death staring Joey.

"Look, we don't have time for this. Shelby could be dead any minute now." Katherine said.

They all took off running.

Eventually, they approached an arch of tentacles.

There was a cage hanging in the middle of it that was above a pit of fire.

Shelby was knocked out in the cage, and Xornoth was nowhere to be seen.

Gem took out her staff and crystal, ready to encase Xornoth.

"Okay, let's get Shelby down before-"

Katherine gasped.

Xornoth had just appeared in front of them.

"Hello." He said in his demonic voice.

"So we meet again." He said to Pearl.

Pearl laughed and she, Scott, and Katherine all took out their weapons.

Scott ran up and slashed Xornoth.

"Tch tch tch, dear brother, you cannot defeat me like that."

"But I can weaken you." Scott said under his breath.

Katherine and Pearl seemed to catch on and they all started attacking Xornoth. Hoping to weaken him so encasing him will be easier for Gem.

"Okay Gem!" Scott shouted.

They all stood back, and Gem's wand started glowing.

"Guys, are you sure we want to do this?" Joey asked.

"Yes!" Pearl, Katherine, and Scott shouted.

"But-"

"Gem, just keep doing what you're doing." Scott said, blocking Joey back.

"This won't be the end!" Xornoth shouted.

"NO!" Joey shrieked.

A flash of white light appeared,

"We did it!" Gem shouted, holding up a red crystal.

They all ran up to hug her, and then they got Shelby down.

"She's out cold, but she's okay. Her heart's beating and she's breathing fine." Katherine said.

Scott picked Shelby up and they went back to House Blossom.

Joey and Pearl left, but Katherine and Gem stayed.

Gem was healing Shelby and Scott and Katherine wanted to relax.

"Here Scott," Gem said, handing him Xoroth's crystal, "This is yours. He is your brother."

Scott took the crystal, moving it around in the light.

The crystal was blood red but it shined.

"How much energy did it take from you?" He asked, not looking up from the crystal.

"Not a lot. It was good that you guys weakened him, or else that would've taken... probably all of my power." Gem said.

Erica walked in and handed them each a cup of tea.

"Cheers," Katherine said, "Congrats on getting rid of Xornoth!"

They all cheered, and then Scott got an idea.

"We should have a festival." He said.

"What do you mean?" Katherine asked.

"Like, we could have a festival at my empire. You know, have food, and cheer for getting rid of Xornoth."

Gem nodded, "That would be fun! But when would we do it?"

"How about tomorrow?" Katherine said.

"Yeah... we would just have to get started early in the morning." Scott got excited, he wanted a day to have fun, and everyone gets along.

"Let's do it! It sounds like fun!" Katherine said happily.

They all high-fived and agreed to meet tomorrow morning to celebrate.
