Scott's Perspective

One Week Later-

Scott walked outside of his ice palace.

"I'm proud of this." He told himself.

Scott had spent the last week learning his powers and making things.

There were ice trees, sculptures, and a palace.

"I guess it's time for me to head back." He said to himself.

But I could stay here. No one to hurt!

Then Scott started stressing out and immediately started packing his stuff.

XORNOTH'S CRYSTAL! I TOTALLY FORGOT! SHIT!

Scott grabbed his stuff and flew back to his kingdom.

Never thought I'd be seeing you again.

The ice crystals had spread, and it was snowing more than ever.

The crystals that he had splashed the potion on changed. They were all shining in different colors, white, gold, and cyan. The colors of Rivendell.

Scott would've loved the crystals, but he was so worried that he overlooked them.

Scott landed and ran to his meeting room.

"Please be here, please be here, please be-"

Scott ran over to where the crystal was,

"NO! Shelby what did you do."

Scott knew that Xornoth had come to the world through Shelby's portal to another world.

Scott ran back to his house, dropped his stuff off, but stopped.

He stared at the crown.

I'm not worthy of it.

Scott was about to take off to Shelby's when,

"Scott? You're back!" His mom ran over and hugged him.

"Mom. I got to-"

"Where have you been? Why aren't you wearing your crown?"

Scott looked to the floor, "I'm not worthy of it. I lost Xornoth's crystal, and I left my friends behind."

His mom sighed and hugged him again.

"Katherine wanted you to see her when you got back."

"I have something to-"

"Please, Scott. She's your best friend."

Scott looked out his window, how could Shelby be so close, yet so far?

He sighed and nodded.

His mom let go of him and he flew off towards House Blossom.

"Scott?!" Katherine tackled Scott on his landing.

"Where have you been? You worried us all! Jimmy-"

Scott felt his heart break. He had forgotten about him.

"I've just been... clearing my head. I learned my magic."

Katherine smiled at him.

"Come on, tell me about it while I send a letter." She said, leading him inside.

"To who?"

"Gem." Katherine lied.

Jimmy's Perspective

An owl flew to Lizzie, who was sitting at the table.

Jimmy had been staying at Lizzie's, but he didn't want to.

His father knew he was there and was trying to make Lizzie leave him behind.

Joel just lost the crown, and so did Lizzie. Scott's been gone for so long that he won't have to follow any one's rule; Jimmy thought. Shelby just got the crown and she ordered everyone to tame five wolves and put them around their empire. Jimmy had told Shelby in private about him getting kicked out, and she said that he could just tame five wolves and put them around Lizzie's empire along with hers. Jimmy already did, but he was busy thinking of everything Scott had missed.

"It's for you." Lizzie said, handing him the letter.

Jimmy, confused, grabbed the letter from Lizzie.

'Dear Jimmy,

You have told me to inform you when Scott gets back. Well, today is your lucky day. Scott's back! He's learned to control his magic, but he isn't back to normal yet. If you want, you can come over and continue your plans from before he left, or you can wait until he gets better. It's up to you. But if you come, make sure you wear something else from your normal attire.

"SCOTT'S BACK!" Jimmy shouted in delight.

"He's back! I have to go!"

Jimmy was about to run when Lizzie grabbed his arm.

"Did you even read the letter?" She asked, "He isn't back to normal yet. If I were you, I would wait to propose to him."

"But for how long?"

Lizzie sighed.

"Just wait. Please. Now is not the right time. He's probably overwhelmed with being back home and his ice magic. Remember what Gem told us? That he gave up his crown? Now that he's back, he's the king of Rivendell again, and that's a lot. Especially with his brother being the demon."

"But the tentacles disappeared! Along with the crystals! Well, except for his since he transformed them." Jimmy said.

"Now can I go?" He asked.

Lizzie looked at him sternly and said, "No. You are going to wait for him to relax."

"But-"

"Don't interrupt me please."

Jimmy grumbled, but Lizzie winked at him.

"You can hang out with him tomorrow and catch up with him. Don't propose yet, because that might be a lot, but hang out."

Jimmy smiled and nodded.

He sent a letter to Katherine,

'Dear Katherine,

Please let Scott know that I want to hang out with him tomorrow. I will come to his empire.

-Jimmy'

Then he gave the letter to the owl and smiled as it flew off.

Scott's Perspective

"Scott, there's a letter for you." Katherine said.

How does anyone know I'm here?

Katherine handed him a letter and smiled.

Scott looked at it and blushed.

But then he frowned.

"What's wrong?" Katherine asked.

"I want to see Jimmy. I really do. But... what if he hates me? I left him, without telling him. What if he wants to leave me?"

Katherine laughed and said, "He doesn't hate you. He loves you. He's been the most worried out of all of us."

Scott started feeling worse.

But he worried about me. That shows he loves me. Why do I feel bad?

"So I take it that you're king again?"

"Yeah... I learned to control my powers, as I told you, and I... I'm ready to talk with Jimmy. I want to..."

Scott's eyes lit up.

"You want to..." Katherine wanted him to go on.

"I want to marry him."

Now, Katherine knew about Jimmy wanting to propose to Scott, so she would have to make sure that Scott didn't propose to Jimmy too.

"I... I want to marry him." Scott repeated more confidently.

Katherine smiled, "That's great!"

"I need to talk with him." Scott stood up, folding out his wings.

"But you're seeing him tomorrow."

"Oh, yeah." Scott folded back his wings.

"SCOTT!" Gem flew down.

"You're- you're back! That's great!"

Scott stared at Gem. Her white streak of hair was still there.

"I'm really sorry, Gem."

"No, it's okay! I'm alright."

Katherine was about to say something when Gem interrupted.

"Where's the crystal?"

Scott then remembered; he was supposed to get the crystal.

"SHIT! That's right! I- she- Shelby has it! She stole it!"

"What?!" Katherine gasped.

"But- but she's a gnome. She's got gnome magic." Gem said, laughing nervously.

Scott shook his head.

"When I got back, I checked on the crystal and it was gone. It makes the most sense that she has it."

"But Shelby has the crown. She's been busy with people trying to trade for it. She won't have time for the crystal." Katherine said.

"Scott, why don't you get some rest. You look exhausted and it would be better to talk about it when you're more awake." Gem said.

Scott hesitated but nodded and flew off to his kingdom.
