So, this book has gotten far more attention than I ever thought it would, and while most people have been absolutely wonderful, some haven't.

I'm not going to go into detail about everything that's been said to me (mostly in DMs, though there have been a couple comments that I've deleted and muted as quickly as I could). Mainly because I don't want to give those people any attention, but I also just don't think anyone wants to read through a bunch of screenshots of nasty shit.

I will address a few, though. Trigger warning for encouraging suicide and victim blaming.

I've been told by several people to kill myself, and one person even went as far as to say I deserved my assault and was making it a far bigger deal than it was. I hope you all wake up one day and feel shame and regret. I hope it keeps you up at night, and I hope it makes it hard to look yourself in the eye. I hope for those things because what you said to me was monstrous, and those feelings of shame and regret mean you are becoming better people. Until then, you can fuck right off to your own corner of the internet. You're utter garbage and belong out of sight.

The reason I'm making this chapter is because I'm really tired of these messages. Don't get me wrong, they haven't been frequent. It's definitely not a continuous stream of harrassment. But they still make being on this platform difficult, and I don't really know how to stop them.

I don't want to unpublish this book. So many people have told me that they found it helpful, and I want to keep helping people. I also think what I say here is important, and I don't want to feel like I'm caving to assholes by deleting it. Hopefully I don't sound conceited by saying that.

So, I guess I'm just asking for suggestions. Is there anything people recommend? Let me know what your thoughts are.
