A SOUL FOR REMEMBRANCE
I ventured through the whereabouts
I pondered about the battlegrounds
The water poured above my head
I was wet and was filled with dread.
There's a common misconception about love,
Mine was hate and lust.
I shared a connection with her
Yet, her honesty with me was blur
I ventured towards my attraction
I pondered about my favourite distraction.
The fine rain dampened my face
As I walked with grace.
My academy thought us loyalty
I wish my personality thought her honesty,
Because, if honesty and loyalty held a place in her heart,
She wouldn't have dealt with the treacherous blow that pierced our son's soul.
