Mean's POV

I was sorely tempted not to accept Plan's apology but one glance at P'New's earnest and hopeful and pleading face made me change my mind. For some reason I had this soft spot for P'New. He was different from all the other directors that I had come across. He was not the bossy type and he was very down to earth.

I did hear some sincerity in Plan's voice and facial expression as well so I told myself it would not hurt to accept his apology.

All three of us, P'New, Plan and myself walked back to the bigger conference room where the actors suddenly seemed to freeze when we walked in.

When P'New opened the door I could still hear a lot of talking and activity. I clearly heard the tail end of someone's sentence, ".....because he has a habit of doing something without thinking."

And then when we walked in everyone fell silent.

"Listen up, all of you," said P'New, "our schedule will stay as planned. You will all come back here on Friday morning. It's only Monday so you have several days to put your stuff together before coming to register at the desk. A staff will be assigned to show you to the dorm which is located also on this floor. But before I dismiss you, we have to continue the introductions which got interrupted earlier because of some misunderstanding between two of your fellow actors."

And so the other actors introduced themselves one by one. The liveliest among them all was Perth. I found out later that he was the youngest among all of us and that probably accounted for all his endless antics.

It looked like everyone except for Saint and myself were from the same agency.

Saint seemed to have a similar personality to my own. We probably would get along more than that Plan guy who is going to play the role of Can. I started getting anxious about the scenes that I would have to make with him.

Before we all met up with P'New we had already been given a copy of the script for the series and I knew that I had to have some kissing scenes with Plan.

Why did P'New have to choose Plan for the Cantaloupe character? His personality seemed to be the very opposite of the character. Unless P'New could see that Plan had excellent acting ability and could immerse himself in the role, then that would account for his confidence in Plan.

P'New announced that before we could even start filming we would be provided with opportunities to interact closely with one another, especially with the partner who was supposed to be our love interest in the series.

There would also be activities where we had to practice some kind of skinship to prepare us and make us comfortable with love scenes in the series.

There would be acting workshops where we would be given scripts and situations for us to act out, mostly with our love partner in the series.

I could tell that the other actors, especially Perth, were very excited about the prospects that lay ahead but I felt some misgivings. I crossed my fingers tightly and hoped for an uneventful interaction with Plan.

I could tell from the grim expression on Plan's face that he wasn't really looking forward to the days ahead either.

As we all headed out towards the hallway where the elevators were, Plan approached me.

"I forgot to ask how old you are," he said.

"I'm twenty," I replied.

"Oh," he said with a smug expression on his face, "I'm twenty one. You will have to call me P'Plan. See you on Friday."

Before I could react, he walked away and walked quickly to the elevator whose doors had just opened.

I went after him but did not join him in the elevator.

"Don't forget to play the Cantaloupe role credibly," I said, "he has to submit to my kisses whether he likes it or not."

The elevator doors closed before he could reply to that.
