Plan's POV

At the water's edge, I saw Mean taking off his socks and shoes and rolling up his pants. Then he started wading in the water.

When I got there, I did the same and joined him.

Suddenly he lifted me, bridal style, and started walking deeper into the water.

"Don't you dare, Mean!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

"I won't," he said, "on one condition..."

"What is it?" I asked.

"Kiss me, like you mean it," he said.

"You're kidding, right?" I said.

He did not reply. I looked at his face. He was dead serious.

A/N: I am deeply and truly sorry that I have to cut the chapter at this point. Time constraint is my problem at this time because of holiday festivities, but I promise to be back with a much much much longer update........
