When I first started writing I had a horrible habit of clumping paragraphs together, and it was difficult for readers to read. I have adopted a few different writing styles. I remember being taught to make sure your paragraphs are at least 5-8 rows. But that to me now seems like a lot. 

I personally don't like long paragraphs; I tend to like the shorter ones. It just makes it so much easier to read and it seems to flow much better. 

Maybe I'm wrong, but it's just my personal preference.
