I will be the first to admit, this is one of my struggles. I have always struggled with descriptions in my books form the very beginning of when I first started writing. I hope I have improved at least a little on this.

Yes, descriptions are important.

"As I entered the cold dilapidated abandoned building, my eyes widen as I see the bodies that turned to skeletons. Each body showing the torture they suffered with ropes around their necks, their hands and feet bound tightly with black belts."
