I walked through the streets of New York. Not easy to do since the place is crowded as all hell, while the stink of this particular street is very 'strong' to say the least.

By the way, have any of you people noticed that? One street smells perfectly fine and when you turn the corner your hit by a thick wall of cigarette smoke or trash. Or both for that matter.

No, just me? Ok.

It's almost midnight and I'm trying to force my way through the crowd to get back to the place I'm staying at. Or at least was staying at till now.

As soon as I get through the gigantic knot of people I speed off and weave around the slow pedestrians I encountered.

Wait.

I stopped on the side walk, ignoring  the glares and grumbles that were aimed my way.

...Someone was following me.

I can just feel it. That sensation of a pair of eyes burning straight into the back of your head. I hate that feeling.

I continue my walk at a much slower speed. No way was I going back home now. Even if the mystery person didn't  know were I lived I didn't want to help them out if they didn't.

I go down an allyway. I know, I know. You're probably screaming to get the eff out of there and stay in crowded areas. "Call the 911, you stupid girl!" is what I'd imagine you'd all say.

Well, I never said I was the smart, now did I?

I stop right in the middle of the passageway. I turn around to face the intruder.

What I didn't expect was to know the person. I mean, how could I forget my old friend. How could I forget my old lover? How could I forget the pain that he had caused me? One that I still live with day to day. The pain that I could never forgive or forget.

"What do you want Razor."
