Chapter 4
I was so hungry I'm already considering eating the leftovers piled at the trash can when I heard voices.
It can't be.
I don't think I've seen anyone around here since the store closed. Ignoring the nagging feeling telling me to just call someone on the phone, I went around the storage room and stopped in my tracks when I saw three shadowed figures at the other side. They were talking to each other loudly and I could hear a hint of Liverpudlian accent in their voice. Not wanting to get caught, I took a step backward, hoping not to get noticed and bumped into someone. Intuitively, I pushed the person without looking to see who it was and made a ran for the exit. It wasn't long before I realized I find myself feeling faint. I held on to the wall for support, catching my breath as I slipped into unconsciousness.
More voices.
I was dizzier than ever as I found myself leaning against a wall. I opened my eyes slowly to see four men staring at me.
They looked strangely familiar all of a sudden. All of them are wearing expensive looking clothes with identical hairstyles each. One of the lads, a juvenile looking man with droopy eyes looked at me and said, "Are you feeling alright, love?" I turned to him and felt my heart skip a beat.
I must be dreaming.
I glanced at the other three who are looking at me with concerned expressions on their faces. I feel like pinching myself real hard because this seemed too good to be true. To think The Beatles are in the same room as me! How cool is that?
