I glanced at my watch for the nth time. Damn. 1 hour to go before last class ends.

I could hear my professor still talking, but I'm not really listening. I was too preoccupied making doodles at my notebook to pay attention to whatever he's saying. Then it all got quiet. I looked away at my notebook, thinking we're dismissed early only to see several eyes are on me. Embarrassed, I turned to my professor who's shaking his head in disapproval . "If you're just going to draw in my class instead of listening, then you better make yourself useful by staying here and help me with my paperworks. And that's final, young lady." He added just as I was about to protest.

Stay at school on a Friday? No way! I have better things to do than to help my teacher checking our test papers. Friday for me means I could go shop at the record store as soon school's done for the day and go watch a movie until the wee hours of the morning. But I guess the record store's out of the option since I have to work until god-knows-when.
