Chapter 23-French Fetish
"Bonjour, mon amour. Je t'aime mais... je ne sais pas pourquoi tu veux que je fasse ça..."
"Dani, have I told you how much I love it when you speak French to me? Can you say 'paint me like one of your french girls' in French too?"
My jaw dropped.
"But say it in a sultry French accent."
What?
"Wait! Before you do it, let me prepare myself."
Huh?
"Now go."
I simply blinked.
"No."
"What-why? Come on Dani."
"Louis, I'm this close to losing it," I said, holding up my fingers an inch apart.
"Hey! Let's just have some fun here-"
"By the time I count to three-"
"You have got to be kidding me."
"One."
"You're serious?"
"Two."
"Wait what's going to happen whe-"
"Three."
I looked expectantly at Louis' sea foam eyes. Her stared at me in return, his cheeks a light pink as he laid on my bed.
"Now that's better," I smiled, moving to sit on the bed next to him. He rolled his eyes, a small smile lighting up his face as he pulled me into his arms. My back fell into his chest as his nose nuzzled my neck.
"Have you heard anything from Harry?"
He shook his head. "He's been moping in Denver."
"Denver? Why Denver? That's random."
"It's a figure a speech."
I paused. "No, Lou...it's really not."
"Oh."
"Where has your head been lately?"
I felt his chest rumble in laughter, his lips lightly caressing my neck and leaving a light trail of kisses. Goosebumps rose up my arm. "Maybe my mind has been on other things."
"Like what?" I whispered.
He tightened his hold on me, his mouth moving to my ear. "Like you in a white dress, a beautiful princess-"
"You mean a queen."
He chuckled. "Yes, a beautiful queen, walking down the aisle to marry me and only me. Then as we ride off in the sunset together on magical flying unicorns, singing love songs to each other."
"You had me going there for a minute. I thought you were finally going to be serious."
"I can't."
"Why ever not?" I turned around in his arms, looking up at him as he turned so that he laid on his back. I sat up, titling my head down. My brown hair fell around us like a curtain, creating a shield that separated us from the rest of the world.
His lips stretched into an earth-shattering grin.
"Because I'm so giddy."
"Giddy is such a weird word."
His eyes squinted. I swear nothing can dim his smile right now, but I didn't mind. It was that same smile I saw on his face when I first met him, the one that made my heart skip a beat. I brushed a strand of his hair away from his eye.
"I'm so in love you, Dani, god, you don't even know. I can't wait until you have my last name. I can't wait until you're officially and legally all mine."
My heart took flight like never before, my cheeks flushing red.
I have never loved a man as much as Louis Tomlinson.
Like who's Adam? Beats me.
"Good thing you don't have to wait too long, Mr. Tomlinson."
"Oh, no?" He played along, pulling me down onto his chest.
"All you have to do is wait until two more days," I whispered onto his lips before pressing down firmly.
He pulled away, his lips brushing mine. "You know damn well that's too long."
I smirked, letting my lips embrace his once again. And again. And again.
"But we have a lifetime to make up for it."
