The night wasn't peaceful for sure as both of their heartbeats racing in silence. Never in Winter's life sleeping right next to anyone besides Aeri or Ning. She shouldn't drink coffee in the first place because now it's hard for her to sleep. Both Karina and her faced the ceiling, but Karina was fast asleep maybe because her schedule was packed most of the day. Great that coffee didn't impact Karina at all.

The worst thing besides couldn't sleep at all is that now the outside was raining heavily and the thunder was just crazy. Winter had astraphobia since she was a kid, and usually, Aeri and Ning gonna hug her tightly when there's a thunderstorm.

Her heart beats faster than normal, and now cold sweat was all over her temple. The only thing she could hold tightly at the moment was the hem of the thick blanket. She doesn't want to disturb sleeping Karina but at the same time, she just wishes for the thunderstorm to end as soon as possible.

Hands and body are trembling, and Winter now sitting on the bed, holding her knees tightly to her chest. Her face was planted on her knees and her eyes were shut tight. She hates this medical condition she had, and why does it need to happen at an unnecessary time?

A loud thunderstorm just flashed in Winter's ears, and small wines came out of her mouth that succeed to wake Karina up.

"Winter?", Karina called inside the medium darkness only to see Winter hugging herself beside her. Karina came closer and put her hand on Winter's arm, and that's when she felt Winter trembling.

"Oh god, Winter. Are you alright?", Karina said as she moved closer to hug the scared Winter in concern. Her hands stroked Winter's back gently as she tried to shush Winter softly.

"What happened? Is there something wrong?", Karina asks while still holding Winter tight in her embrace.

"It's just... I have this phobia of thunder...", Winter explained herself, somehow managing to ease her tense body.

Karina keep stroking her back with her soft shush on Winter's ears, just to make sure that the only thing Winter hear was her voice. Somehow, Karina's soft voice and warm hug make Winter feel much better.

When Winter can compose herself again, she lifted her head up to look straight into Karina who was still looking at her. Winter then flashes her thankful smile towards the older girl and Karina smiled back in reply.

"Thank you", Winter said.

"Anything, Winter"

"Anything~", Karina continued.

Karina was never anything like Winter have imagine. She thought that this popular person sitting right next to her inside the car was arrogant like most of the celebrities out there.

Her mindset to become an un-fan, not a hater, of celebrities started 5 years ago. Winter was 17 and had just come back from school when she accidentally bumped into her classmate who is an idol, Jeno.

It wasn't her fault in the first place. That guy was the one who was running through the school hallway and bumped into Winter who was drinking her chocolate milk. As result, the milk poured onto his clothes like a river and Jeno later shouted straight toward Winter's face.

"You filthy muggle!"

"Winter?"

"Winter?"

"Winter??", Karina called her for the third time and Winter finally snapped into reality. Having those flashbacks really irritates Winter. If she had a chance to meet Jeno one day, she will make sure he got a smack from her as revenge.

"Winter, are you okay? I'm just worried. You were so quiet through the ride", Karina ask somehow bending her body towards Winter to have a better look into Winter's expression.

"I'm fine. Sorry for making you worry~", Winter flashes her bright smile, and again, that smile succeeds to assure Karina that everything was completely fine.

Winter was wrong about Karina all along. Karina Yu was Karina Yu, and she wasn't the same as that bastard Jeno. Karina is kind, soft, and full of care towards her since the first day they met a week ago. She didn't see anything wrong yet with her wife, and she assured her that her assumptions about Karina were true.

Karina was different from Jeno.

"We've arrived", Karina said, pouting her lips towards the college gate and Winter turn her head around in reflex. Did they just arrive? Or long arrived? How long did Winter have her flashback moments? Winter doesn't even know.

"Ah! Thanks", Winter chuckled before reaching her hand to the car's doorknob. Before she even succeed to pull it open, Karina suddenly pulled her gently from behind and Winter turned her head around, startled.

"Hmm?", Winter lifted one of her eyebrows.

"What time will your class end?", Karina asked.

"I don't know. Maybe around 6? I'll call you later, I promise", Winter smiled one last time before Karina answered her statement with a nod. One final last smile before Winter finally pulled the doorknob open and stepped one of her feet outside the car.

"Have a fun day~", Karina waved happily towards Winter and Winter smiled back in reply.

"You too~"

As Winter walks towards the cafeteria just to grab... maybe, a sandwich and a cup of coffee? Suddenly an arm circled her shoulder from behind and a voice greeted her in excitement. Winter already knows who it is just from listening to her giggles.

"Morning, Ning", Winter greeted.

"How's your newlywed's life, huh? Get something touchy? Or did you guys already-"

"We don't, Ning. Gosh, your dirty mind! Get off me!", Winter shrugged her best friend off but the hold on her shoulder just got tighter. Curse Ningning and her curious ass.

"OH, YOUR FACE IS GETTING RED! SOMETHING HAPPENED, RIGHT? TELL ME TELL ME!"

"SORRY, IT'S ALL CONFIDENTIAL!!"

"OH COME ON!"

Back to the glass full of Karina fangirls and fanboys. Do you know how will it be when a fan meets another fan with the same interest, they'll talk about it non-stop? Their topic today was Karina's sudden marriage, and Winter was already prepared to hear their comments and sadness inside the class.

"I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! SHE WAS MARRIED! OH MY KARINA YU!"

"MY KARINA!!"

"Naevis!!!"

Winter lifted her eyebrows up in confusion. That's a new word, and Winter just shrugs it off from her mind. Listening silently to their wailing with Ningning by her side sure is fun, like the fact that their classmates did not know that the wife of Karina Yu was here with them.

"NOOOOOO"

"WHY DID SHE MARRIED SO EARLY!!"

"SHE MARRIED A NON-CELEBRITY!"

"OH MY HEART GONNA BURST OUT"

Winter and Ningning could not help from giggling happily. Their comment was so bizarre and seconds later they received a sudden glare from the girls in front of them. 

"What so funny about it, Winter Kim?", Yeji said with her pout, and the girl beside her, Yuna did the same.

"Nothing. Nothing", Winter tried to act innocently like she didn't have any interest in the news. Yeji and Yuna glared at Winter and Ning one last time before they turn their head back to the front.

A notification bell came from Winter's phone, and she pulled it out from her bag, revealing Karina was the one who messaged her. It's short, but enough to make Winter happy at the moment.

Karina: I just arrived at the shooting set. Remember to call me when your class ended~❤️

Winter smiled widely looking at the heart emoji and she's glad Ning didn't see it or else her best friend definitely gonna tease her all day long.

There's this warm sensation inside Winter's heart, and Winter wasn't a fool for not understand what does it mean by that. She didn't hate to admit it. It wasn't a crime to admit it. Maybe Winter start to feel comfortable with this marriage.
