Keyuri's POV

"No mum please. I am having high fever I am not going to Jay's marriage." I insisted.

My parents were friends of Jay's parents. So they were really looking forward to attend his marriage. Even I was looking forward to attend his marriage. But for different reasons. As per my well formulated plan, I somehow convinced my parents that as I was not feeling well ,I might either not attend his marriage or come late.

They agreed and set out to attend the event. However they were unknown about my foolproof planning.

I was lucky that the groom i.e. Jay was so cooperative. I called him up and informed about my parents' arrival. Then I started getting ready. I wanted to reach there at 'right time' even if it meant that I had to go there late.

Kevin's POV
Initially my parents were not willing to attend Jay's marriage even though they were invited. They had other plans. They insisted that I should attend it. However after giving few excuses and reasons (which didn't made any sense), my parents gave up and agreed to go.

As soon as we reached to the marriage venue, I called up Jay who was waiting near the entrance gate. My parents knew Jay very well as he used to come to my place for studies during exams. Jay conversed with my parents and told them about the expected presence of Keyuri and her family.

My parents looked at me and grinned. However my dad joked  "now I am getting sense about why you were so excited to bring us over here today. You want us to ask for Keyuri's hand for marriage?"

I knew I was caught. So there was no use of fabricating any excuse. "Mum dad I just want you guys to be get introduced to her parents and talk with them. Is that too much to ask?"

"Yeah plus I am here to help" offered Jay.

"That's ok son" said my dad. "We know what you want from us."

"Don't worry dear. I would get acquainted with her mother" assured my mum.

I wished I had my grandmother present here. She had power to turn any situation easy with her wit and antics. But she was staying at my uncle's place.

Soon Jay was greeted by my future father in law and mother in law. My future father in law (ie my Boss)  instantly recognised me and I introduced him and aunty to my parents. Jay played his part very well. He gave further introduction of my parents to her parents. Soon all of them begun the conversation. Soon, In midst of well participated discussion, Jay excused himself and winked at me. And then I got the cue that I was supposed to ensure that they all stay together.

Luckily my parents are natural charmers. Soon mine and her parents decided to stay together for whole event. While my father and my boss were busy discussing about business and current market, my mum and aunty were busy discussing about clothes and trends. Soon they came up with the topic of kids. I grinned. I knew that soon the topic of marriage would be raised.

However I was feeling bored. So I decided to leave my parents with hers. I found my cell phone ringing. It was her "Meet me at entrance dear" she said.

It was time to execute part 2 of her plan.
