"Hello again Adagio."

Adagio's eyes grew at hearing a second voice in the hidden room. Shouldn't she be the only person in there, she even closed the 'doors.'

Whipping around to look who was there, the siren glared.

That glare faded as soon as she came to see mulberry and raspberry eyes.

"S-Sonata, Aria?! What are you two doing here!" Adagio sneered. She held her's and Twilight's pendant protectively all the while keeping her distance.

"If you think you I'm going to let you have either of these your both sadly mistaken."

The purple siren rolled her eyes in annoyance. Her pigtails swayed to the side as she shook her head.

"You don't get it do you? We're not here for the pendants. We're here for you."

The former lead singer smirked, her eyebrows knitted in an 'are you serious' manner.

"That's cute, but do you really think I'll be going with either of you? Unlike you both I've got a lot going for me right now. So if you'd excuse me I have some unfinished business I need to attend to."

Sonata's eyes dropped as she looked back and forth at her friends. She wasn't told anything like this would happen again.

Folding her arms, Aria sighed.

"Guess we're doing this hard way, huh? Fine, I was always one for this way anyways... Sonata!"

The blue siren jumped at the rising tone of the purple siren. Frantically she reached into her pocket and pulled out a phone and two fixed pendants. She moved closer to Aria, giving her one of the pendants while scrolling through the phone for something.

"Here you go."

"Yeah, whatever."

Aria snatched the phone up and tilted it horizontally to face Adagio.

"You think that Twilight girl is your friend don't you? Have you forgotten what she did to us at the Battle of the Bands?"

The phone played a video of the three sirens humiliating defeat on stage. It captured all of their faces with horror and dismay. They had never looked worse as they ran off stage from view.

"How could I forget. That was the night when you two screwed everything up. And just an fyi I don't think of this Twilight as my friend one bit. She's just a pathetic pawn in my plan. This Twilight comes from this world and has gained some powerful Equestrian Magic that I now have in my grasp."

"Is that so? Interesting... TWILIGHT!" Aria smirked. She stepped away from her original spot to reveal an exasperated Twilight Sparkle.

"I'm your what!?" Twilight yelled louder then she meant to. Her hands were balled up into tight fists. Tears threatened to run down her face at any minute.

"T-Twilight! When did you get here?" Adagio's heart raced at seeing the Sparkle. Was it embarrassment? No it was fear. The girl she had grown so fond of probably hated her guts right now and there was no one to blame but herself.

"Just in time to hear that you don't even care about our friendship! Was everything we went through just a game?" The anger in the bespectacled girl's voice rose with each word. She was even moving closer by the second.

"No, no, no! You've got everything wrong! I- I- I was set up. I didn't really mean those things, they just came out that way... You've gotta hear me out on this one..

"Oh I've heard plenty to last me a life time." Twilight now stood only inches away from Adagio. "I'll be taking this back now, thank you."

It took the siren a moment to realize that both pendants had been taken away from her.

"Oh, you can forget about coming back to my house. Actually just forget about my existence entirely."

That last sentence really got to Adagio. She fell to her knees in defeat. How could she just forget the girl she had come to admire so much?
