Wow this is a MAJOR accomplishment to me! I have gotten 24 or more new fans over the past 4 days! I'm so happy and want to thank EVERYONE that has become a fan, commented and voted on my story! Chapter 3 First day of school and I made a friend

I woke up and closed my eyes I had a major headache and school starts today. I looked at the time. 6:54 A.M. oh well I guess I'll be late then.

Wait did something happened last night I can't remember. I'm sure the fag poisoned me but I can't remember anything after that. It should come back to me in a couple hours.

I got out of bed and a paper fell off the bed but I ignored it. I walked to my bathroom and took a fast shower and got out. I put on my white short dress, black shredded leggings and black flats.

I walked to be mirror and grabbed my scissors. I cut my hair that was once to my knees and now just above my hips. It felt like a pound was lifted off my head and I loved it. I blow dried my hair and brushed it.

When I was done I stood up and grabbed my white backpack and left the apartment.

The old hag was waiting blocking my way out. I looked at her and her face showed sorrow and pity.

'Good morning Leah.' She said and I stopped dead in my tracks. She NEVER calls me by my name.

'What do you want?' I said in a cold voice waiting impatiently for her to move away from the door.

'I want to make a truce for this day only.' She said in a soft voice. I glared at her asking the question I already knew the answer to.

'Why?'

'Well today is the day you lost your family, I mean you watched your sister die right in front of yo-' she said but I cut her off. I grabbed her by the collar or her shirt and pushed her against the door.

'You will never speak of my sister again.' I said icily. For once she actually looked scared but I didn't care.

I pushed her out of my way and opened the door. I looked back at her.

'I liked you better when you tried poisoning me.' I sneered at her and slammed the door. I left the apartment and walked the two blocks to school. It was a little bit cold but I was too pissed to care.

Nico's POV

I left Leah's room around four in the morning because I have to help Grover find a Demi-god at this school. It's so boring but it's my father's orders as of now but I left her a note.

It was still pretty dark outside and I noticed a little girl.

She had curly brown hair, light tanned skin and looked maybe around eight years old and has a black dress on. I wonder if she's lost. I walked to the little girl but something felt off.

She looked at me and smiled. She was suddenly in front of me and it looked like she was evaluating me. I looked at her and realized she must be a spirit but the only thing was weird was she hugged me.

What the hell? That's not normal for spirits to be able to hug the living.

'Your father wants me to deliver a message to you.' She said still smiling at me. My father?

'The gods are looking for an angel and he wants it first.' She said.

'An angel? Do they even exist?' I asked confused. Has my dad finally lost it?

'Yes and your father wants you to find her and bring her to him.' She said and stepped back and turned into golden dust and disappeared.

'How am I going to find an angel?' I mumbled to myself walking off to school.

Leah's POV

I got to the school and walked to the attendance office. I walked to the front dust and looked at the lady, it was the same lady I met last during orientation and when she looked at me she looked scared sh!tless.

'Ms. Leah.' She said in a small voice and I smirked at her.

'What class period are we in right now?' I asked pulling out my schedule I never looked at.

'Second' she said never really looking at me.

'Would you like me to right a pass?' she said pulling out a piece of paper.

'No, no that's okay just mark me tardy.' I said walking to my second period class which was English honors.

I walked to my class and everyone looked at me. It's always the same looks every time. Girls filled with hate when they look at me most guys give me lustful looks and I roll my eyes at them.

'You a lot of nerve coming late to class on the first day of school.' Some mid-forty year old guy said to me whom I'm assuming is a new teacher.

'You got a lot of nerve talking to me like that.' I said walking to a seat in the very back.

'What did you say?!' he said turning red.

'What is your name?' he said in a stern voice.

'You are only to refer to me as Leah, nothing else.' Not caring whether the school finds out who my parents are.

'Go to the principal's office now.' He said in a hard voice.

I got out my phone and texted the princable.

Hey Mr. P

Whos the new teach?

U didn't tell him about me

If he gets on my nervs again

Ur gonna lose sum major funding

'Hand me your phone now' the douche said holding out his phone. I waited. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1.

The douchebag's phone started ringing and I smiled. He picked up the phone and I heard yelling and the color drained from his face.

I smiled and he hung up the phone.

'I'm so sorry I had no idea you funded most of the school!' he said and the entire class gasped.

'You mean she's rich?' one of the cheerleaders asked and I rolled my eyes.

'Yes.' He said and the bell rang. Everyone started crowding me asking me how I was so rich and how much money did I have. I couldn't take it no more and snapped.

'WHAT THE FREAK! Did I say you all can hang out with me?! Cause you know what I'm going to have the same attitude I had last year and the year before that!' I yelled and everyone backed up.

'Just leave me ALONE!' I yelled in a menacing voice and everyone ran off to their next class.

'Wow, I guess everyone wants money that desperately.' Said a voice behind me. I turned around and was met by a boy who wasn't that taller than me, has curly brown hair and was wearing a cap that covered most of his hair. I smiled at his shirt, it said: Give a hoot, don't pollute!

'You new to the school?' I asked him.

'Yeah how'd you know?' he said in an amazed voice. I smiled.

'Cause I've never seen you around the school.' I said.

'Wow, my names Grover what's yours?' he asked with his hand out for me to shake. I shook his hand.

'Leah.' I said and started walking to my next class and he followed.

'What class do you have next?' he asked walking with me a little funny.

'Music, you?'

'Me too!' He said enthusiastically.

We made it to music class and picked up an instrument. It was free day in music class so we could pretty much play whatever.

Grover picked up a reed pipe and started playing he was actually not too bad. When the class was over it was time for lunch. I grabbed some food and walked outside.

'Where are you going?' he asked eating while walking with me.

'To see my sister, so I'm skipping the rest of the day. You coming with or what?' I said walking.

'I'll come with.' He said.

Grover's POV

I think Leah's a demi-god but I'm not sure. She seems very weird but nice at the same time. I wish I could ask Chiron more about the 'Angel' rumor that slipped out of Olympus.

I followed Leah for a couple blocks and was getting tired. Why do New York blocks have to be so long?!

I realized that Leah stopped and that we were in a clearing. It was beautiful! I looked at Leah and she bent down next to what appeared to be a gravestone.

'Grover I want you to meet my little sister, Lucy.' She said sitting down next to the grave.

'While you were playing the reed pipe in music class I made her a song. Cover your ears because my singing sucks.' Leah said smiling at me. I covered my ears and was prepared for the worst.

She started singing and I uncovered my ears because she sounded amazing!

She finished the song and I noticed some tears slide down her face. I was crying too I mean the song was so sad!

'How old was she when she died?' I asked. She looked at me with sad eyes.

'Eight years old.' She said.

'How?' I asked I felt rude for asking but I wanted to know.

'You really want to know the truth? On my tenth birthday my family and I were attacked by a freaking half ox half man creature! Me and my sister were running to get away and she tripped over a branch because of me! I pulled her and she fell and the monster killed her!' I was in total shock.

I need to tell Chiron now!

'I'll be right back stay here and don't move okay?' I said and I ran over behind a tree to send an iris to Chiron.

No one answered the iris. Uh- oh what if something happened? I need to tell Nico. I went back where I left Leah and she was gone.

Why does this always happen to me?
